themrgreendude
I am wanting to get into Champions and I have played HERO System games a few times at Cons. I own almost all the 6th Edition books and wanted to know, am I understanding that instead of using the 2 volume 6th Ed books I can just use Champions Complete and use that with the Champions sourcebooks? Grailknight
Yes. The Two main books are are out of print and Champions Complete contains 99.9% of the rules.
IndianaJoe3
That should work fine. I would keep the Classes of Minds rules from 6e Core, but opinions may vary on that.
Ndreare
One good way to think of it is Champions Complete is the hero system. While 6th edition volume 1&2 are Champions Complete Advanced rules with FAQ. The two games are rally the same but one set has extensive FAQ and examples included. bigdamnhero
Yeah, if you already own both sets of books, it's not really an either-or. 6e1+2 and CC and 99% compatible; one just goes into a LOT more detail. I think of CC as the "core rules" and 6e1 and 6e2 as the Advanced GM's Guide.
