steriaca
Golden Age Wonder Woman was just thinly veiled bondage porn. It is known, Khaleesi. Nope. Bondage is only a subtex in Wonder Woman. More important was the 'women are superior to men' subtex in that comic. It was what the writer believe in. steriaca
Can't it be both? For the people who read it, it was mostly for the drawings of women in bondage. The whole women are superior angle was lost on them. After the war, WW became less about action, and more domestic. Mostly because the creator died. wcw43921
Presenting--Jon Juan, The Immortal Superlover!Created in 1950 by Jerry "Superman" Siegel--who must have seen Errol Flynn's "The Adventures Of Don Juan" several times, at least--Jon Juan is a scion of Atlantis, who while being pursued by a horde of jealous Atlantean men, gets frozen in ice and exposed to a rare "sea-weed" granting him immortality. He becomes the greatest lover of all time, romancing women everywhere, leaving an adoring string of conquests in his wake. Whatta guy! I'm thinking at least three levels of Striking Appearance, a PRE of 30, a Seduction Roll of 25-, and a player with no shame whatsoever. Any other thoughts? Christopher R Taylor
Those gorgeous dames from the Golden Age. That hair was amazing, without most of the tricks available to women today. In Europe, dye became basically impossible to find, so they turned to plant dyes like berry juice etc.
wcw43921
Amazing Heroes Wave 2 There may be three modern-age heroes in this wave, but the rest are pure Golden Age. Well--doggone it. "With less then a couple of weeks to go and still a significant amount left to raise, I have decided to cancel the Kickstarter for Amazing Heroes wave 2. This was not an easy decision to make but we are going to go back and retool the line up and see if we can relaunch later in the year. We are close to signing deals for some popular characters that were going to be part of wave 3. So, if those deals finalize, we’ll combine some of the more popular characters from wave 2 and wave 3 for the relaunch of wave 2."

He's gripping that scimitar by the "sharp" end, but laughing. So I would write it as a Normal, not Killing, Attack, with Reduced Penetration. Sure looks dramatic though. Jon Juan's Shiny but Dull Sword: (Total: 57 Active Cost, 20 Real Cost) Hand-To-Hand Attack +6d6, Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2) (45 Active Points); STR Minimum 10 if 2 hands, 15 if 1 hand (-1/2), OIF (-1/2), Hand-To-Hand Attack (-1/4), Required Hands One-And-A-Half-Handed (-1/4), Reduced Penetration (-1/4) (Real Cost: 16) plus +4/+4d6 Striking Appearance (vs. all characters) (12 Active Points); OIF (-1/2), Gestures (Requires both hands; -1/2), Extra Time (Full Phase, -1/2), Instant (-1/2) (Real Cost: 4) "Great for striking a pose, not so great for striking another swordsman!" Why is the Focus Inaccessible? So he can taunt "Jon Juan is never disarmed, ha ha!" Lucius Alexander Jon Juan! Women adore him! Men envy him! Palindromedaries just placidly ignore him. Hate to bust your bubble boys, but the project is canceled by the creator, guess he'd have'nt gotten enough funding. Too bad those would have been great AFs for a board game.
