Returning GM

It has been a long time sense I last ran champions but I have just recently purchased a copy of champions complete with the intention of putting it back in my game group’s regular RPG rotation.

Can anyone tell me if there are any good pre made introductory adventure modules free or otherwise for this addition of the rules? I am interested in what comes highly recommended by the community in terms of superhero adventures.

Champions Battlegrounds would be worth getting a hold of even though it's for 5e.

Part of it was even written by the same Derek Hiemforth who wrote Champions Complete!

I'm glad I looked before posting; I have the same question. I'm glad to see some recommendations.

Redneck Luchadore, King of the Mountain says it's for 450-550 point heroes. The last time I played Champions was roughly 3rd edition; 500 points was a lot, then. Is that range common for new heroes in 6e?

Hyper-Man, Battlegrounds sounds great. Is there a lot to do to convert it to 6e?

Starting superhero points through the various editions.

1st-4th = 250

5e = 350

6e = 400

The main reason for the escalation early on was the ever increasing number of skills available due to bleed over from the other genre books (Danger International, Justice Inc., Fantasy Hero).  In 6e they finally got rid of 'Figured Characteristics' as a concept.  Having a high DEX no longer means a character automatically has a high Combat Value or high Speed.  Each value is now independent.  This made the cost of characteristic heavy characters like 'Bricks' more expensive so more points are given.  The Elemental Control Framework was also removed (as it was partly a balancing tool to compensate non-characteristic heavy characters).  The Unified Limitation was introduced in its place.
