steriaca
Welcome. Hear is a list of ideals for free to those who want to work on them. Champions of the Rising Sun: A Japan supliment for Champions, much in the vein of Kingdome Of Champions and Champions Of The North. Japan, as viewed by American comic books. With some facts for those who do need to know and do not want to run to Wikipedia all the time. And some minor guidelines on 'animie'-fing the book for those otaku out there. Enemies of the Rising Sun: Japanizes villains for a campaign based on Champions of the Rising Sun. Orichi: The Eight Heads: A villain organization for Champions of the Rising Sun. Orochi is a group of people who view the westernization of Japan as evil. This, they want to return Japan into a closed society, and the return of the samurai class as the head of the society (basically re-fedurising Japan). They work for the mysterious Tekshogun (Iron Shogun). Rookie Enemies: About 10 villains, all of them at starting points (400 point build, 75 points in Complications, no power over 60 active points, no experience bonus of any kind, no skill over 14-). Ninja-Bear
For Rookiee Villians may I suggest the Geodesices!
steriaca
I cannot recreat anything originally published by HERO, because I am NOT them. So, Geodesices are out of Rookies.
Ninja-Bear
I cannot recreat anything originally published by HERO, because I am NOT them. So, Geodesices are out of Rookies. Gotcha but I thought you were also making an open letter type request to include Hero games? Regardless though the Geodesices is a nice inspiration for a rookiee team. steriaca
Well, if someone within Hero Games can get the rights to them from the original creator (cause pre 5th edition, Hero Games did not automatically own the characters they published), and they want to do Rookie Enimes and are looking for characters for it, they are free to do so. steriaca
I might get off my a$$ and do this fan project anyways. How many do you think sounds good for a bare bones, no artwork free pdf? 10? 15?
Christopher R Taylor
I'd like to see Champions Down Under: Australian setting for Champions, including cultural, historical, geophysical notes, plus adventures, how superheroes and villains are treated in a distinctly Australian manner, etc. Champions 101: a super stripped down beginner version of the rules for players, telling the very basics in a very simple, colorful, and well-illustrated manner. Includes 10-20 beginner characters, mostly variants and one offs of established, familiar character types and heroes seen in recent films in a very simple format. GMing 101: Tips and ideas on how to run a good game, a beginner scenario, along with ideas for a running campaign including many short adventure prompts, and the full versions of the characters from Champions 101, including story ideas and how to run them in your game. IndianaJoe3
I might get off my a$$ and do this fan project anyways. How many do you think sounds good for a bare bones, no artwork free pdf? 10? 15? $2-5, depending on size. (The Expanded Superhero Gallery was a good deal at $2 for 22 pages.) If I'm paying $10 for a PDF, it needs to be pretty solid and professional.
Christopher R Taylor
Would be pretty easy to throw together a batch of lower powered villains, I'd say a dozen or so solo guys and a couple of groups would be fine. Art would be the only thing slowing the project down. But yeah, you can't get more than five bucks for a character pack PDF I'd guess. Even in print, not a lot more. Maybe if I had a ton more energy and time I'd throw one together but with all the writing I already have to do :/
steriaca
I am not selling this. The question is how many, not how much.
rjd59
Just a thought! The artwork for characters could be done using hero machine, free and easy to use, not sure about any copy right laws hough. For a fan created pdf, I'd settle for this type of artwork. At least there'd be a representation of the character that could be seen.
The Arc
I'd be willing to offer up my Yatsugashira monsutāgyangu or Eight Headed Monster Gang...
