tkdguy
I didn't participate in this game, but I think it's worth posting here. It's one way to include fantasy monsters in your SF game.

tkdguy
This was for my hard SF game. This scenario has a slightly goofy story, however."High above the Martian city of New Havana, the USS Kennedy and the RFS Kruschev stand off, missiles aimed at each other...." Chris Goodwin
Our longest-running Sci-Fi campaign is based on John DeChancie's Starrigger. We started it back in the 80's (after the second book but before the final book) and it's still going strong (though honestly, if we'd read the last book, we might have lost interest before we got it off the ground. ). Dude! Starrigger?! I seriously gotta read the Star Hero board more often. Do you have campaign notes posted anywhere?
