Marcus Impudite
Friendly Foxy's Pizza is a pizzeria similar to Chuck E Cheese's. Recently the owner of Friendly Foxy's hired Charlie, a robotics/engineering student from Campaign City University (and an acquaintance of one of the PCs), to build five animatronic characters for the pizzeria, including their mascot Felisha The Fox. The animatronics were a hit with the kids and there were no problems with them until, one Saturday evening during a birthday party, Felisha jumped down off the stage, menaced everyone in the dining room, and would have savagely attacked a pizzeria employee had the manager not used the emergency shut off Charlie provided him with. Thankfully, no one was physically harmed in the incident, and the the people from the birthday party were ultimately convince not to sue. In the meantime, Charlie has shut down the animatronics and removed their battery packs. After telling the manager to consider the animatronics out of service for the time being, Charlie took Felisha The Fox back to the university lab and ran full diagnostics on both her hardware and software. Said diagnostics found nothing that would explain the sudden strange behavior, but he did find one thing that dumbfounded him: someone appears to have vandalized the inside of Felisha's maintenance access panel. Whoever it was drew, in what he assumes is red marker, some kind of weird looking symbol. On a hunch, he checked the others and found they had had the same symbol drawn inside them as well. Research into the pizzeria's past turned up one former employee who had claimed he was wrongfully fired, but records show he died in a car accident back in 1996. WWYCD? SteelCold
Shadowraith orders a Hawaiian pizza then investigate the manager. A ghost out for revenge is odd considering how it took said ghost so long to act and why would it even use a robotic mascot to do so? Did Foxy use abacuses instead of electronic cash registers this entire time?

Hermit
The Gaze- His powers are chiefly mind control, but he can sense psychic energies in use. He might see if he could find some remnant energies. After that, it's detective work, which he does not claim to excel at. Still, perhaps it is time to look into the dearly departed, and see if he had family or friends who might use the occult to avenge him. And yes, it's possible that there's a ghost at work. Aquatic- His powers are magical, but he's not a mystic. If he can enlist team mates who know more than him in the area, he'd ask them to help him look into it. Wolfhound- Supersenses, but mystic stuff is way over his head. He'd see if anyone left a scent on the box where the mark was, and make like a bloodhound... for a start. Doctor Sanguine- Is a mystic, and would soon be peeking into the astral plane after deducing the occult mark.
Badger
Well, given the old Star Trek episode on MeTV right now. I am not trusting no one named Charlie
Comic
Clearly, turn the animatronics back on and have a chat with them, eventually. I suppose someone careful would research the symbol, first, though. Is it a tag? Purportedly mystical? Something people will be alerted to if there's an online search for it? Since Magneceptor's close enough to a cyberpath and telepath to get a good inkling as to what's what in an electronic mind, plus his Electronics 21- and Computer Programming 21- (with Cryptography 21-), he may find something Charlie missed. Then there's the Glasnost principle: trust that Charlie means well, but everyone's a suspect and thoroughly investigated. Oh, and this pizza.. is there a discount for crime solvers? Major Tom 2009
While not a mystic himself, Powerstar (who has more than a passing familiarity with the occult due to his years of fighting crime in Vibora Bay) would definitely seek assistance from a mystic in this matter. steriaca
Jon "Sunburn" Roberts: Use his really huge KS: The Super World (about 26-) to tell exactly who could do this thing. And again, roll his big skill to give him someone who can help (ex teen-age mutant superheros turned SSN reporter has no direct skills in magic or really manipulation). Chances are good its his old Metaguard nemises dexniJ.

FrankL
Bolt would order whatever has the most meat toppings and get to work. He'd have Null Space working on the robots to see if there is anything missed by Charlie (Null Space would take the Super Spicy Supreme). Bolt is no stranger to the supernatural, his girlfriend turned into a vampire once. Then her team of monsters got Borged. Pity. He and Guardian Angel would be checking the occult and mystic angle. Since none of the team are mystics (all genetically engineered), it would be footwork and calling in favors. (And Guardian Angel would order the veggie lover's.) SteelCold
I'm surprised no one mentioned or even suspected Foxbat.
Marcus Impudite
I'm surprised no one mentioned or even suspected Foxbat. As loony as Foxbat is, I doubt it's in-character for him to do something that could endanger people's lives; children's lives doubly so. Tech
I get a pizza then check for micro-footprints, such as might be left by someone with shrinking powers who might have done the deed - one that is egotistical since the symbol is probably the calling card. Major Tom 2009
Don't count Foxbat out. He could of done this accidentally, while trying to do something else. It wouldn't be the first time that Foxbat managed to accidentally reactivate some technological device or another -- he did, after all, manage to reactivate Plasmoid's self-repair capacity (in Enemies for Hire, IIRC). Crippledone
Teen heroes Foxbat junior- He would have been investigating this restaurant since the name sounds suspiciously Foxbat-ish. due to the suspicion he would also be on edge expecting Foxbat affiliated fans and villainy unlimited copyright lawyers to both swarm him to protect the mighty Foxbat. ( I'm sure my hunted by both those groups would get a bonus in an establishment like this.) he would be super surprised if the name was coincidental and foxbat does not own this restaurant for some reason. If his investigation turned up black Harlequin. he would give in to the purge suit/ put it on and kill him. lucha Larry- He would look for people twirling their mustache. if he could not find that he would give up. His job is to wrestle not think Adult superheroes. The Toon Titan- Would dig through his bag of tricks causing considerable all damage to the environment until he found a thinking cap so he could help figure this out. Millennium Paragon- assuming he could overcome his fear of robots, would use the considerable technology in his early model Dr destroyer suit [The character was built with one of the plot seeds from the book of the destroyer where a relative has an earlier suit.] even if he could overcome his fear he would be terrified The Nanny would Download her intelligence into the robot in order to find him. If he still has the purge suit he would hunt down Mechana/ the Nanny after destroying the robot
