Wardsman
As most people who follow my posts know I'm 5th edition player and was hesitant to post this here. However as this does affect 6th as well, I was asked to post this question here. How does active point penalties to skill rolls work when you require two skill rolls on a power. I can see situations where applying to both may called for and I can see where it should only be applied to the primary power roll. So how do you see this Steve? Extra point question: How does the active point penalty work when the skill roll is a luck roll?
Steve Long
1. 6E1 389 states, “A character cannot take multiple Required Rolls on the same ability unless the GM permits him to.” If the GM decides to permit this, it’s up to him to decide how the Active Point penalty applies. Personally I’d have it apply in full to both rolls, but people have been known to question my wisdom and insight. 2. See APG 144.
