I have a qestion. Dose martial arts increse weapon damage (HKA)? For exampel, if a martial art move has +4 DCs and a weapon doss 5 D6 HKA is the total damage then 9 D6? Also do you include the Str bonus as well?

Depends on the edition, if your playing Heroic or Superheroic, amongst others.

In 6ed, yes. The based damage of the weapon, incresed by maneuver damage and strength bonus. In Heroic campaigns, this damage can't go over twice the base DC of the weapon, but that is out the window in a Superheroic campaign. Earlier editions are different.

First off, the weapon doing 5D6 would do 6D6+1 with the martial maneuver.

The answer to your question is "Yes", per 6E1.

Yes, with a few caveats:

1) your have to have purchased the appropriate Weapon Element for your martial art.

2) Killing Attacks are 3 Damage Classes per die. Normal attacks are 1 DC per die.

3) Strength will increase the damage of your HKA and then your MA DCs will be added.

So, if your character has a 20 STR and a 2d6 HKA sword he'll do 2d6 + 4 DCs = 3d6+1 HKA after STR is

added. If he also has Offensive Strike for another 4 DCs, his damage will increase to 4 1/2d6 HKA.

Note: The above is all assuming 6e is what is being discussed.

In 6e real weapons cannot do more damage than double their base DC. "Real Weapon" is a -1/4 limitation that can be taken on weapons. Including ones in Champions. Check out the section on creating weapons.
