The subject reminds me of a humor bit I read long ago in a book called, I think, A Random Walk in Science. Part of the Advanced Physics Exam...

 

"You send a beam of circularly-polarized, rubidium-87 cations through a magnetic field, two perpendicular electric fields, an adiabatic cooling field, a scalar meson field and a wheat field.
