DJWebb2
I've read several pieces on several web sites, but it just gives me "she can stretch really far and change shape" - yeah, ok got that but I was curious about things I might be missing. Anyone have any thoughts? I appreciate any reply. Thanks, Dave

Greywind
Not strong enough with a 15 STR to hold/carry an RV with 3 other people in it, Cassandra.
wcw43921
I would give her a high PD, given the resiliency she's shown when stretched. Remember the scene where she was trapped outstretched between two doors, and two of Syndrome's troopers run into and get knocked off their ride? That's a gut punch right there, and she takes it pretty well, from what I remember. I would also give her some "Stretch-Fu" Martial Arts to represent her fighting ability, especially the scenes where she one-punches bad guys into unconsciousness. The Hand Attack in Cassandra's build is a good start, but there's also the scene where she punched/kicked two guys at once. That's fighting skill there. Hope that helps. Cassandra
Not strong enough with a 15 STR to hold/carry an RV with 3 other people in it, Cassandra. I modified it by giving her STR +30 at the cost of some Armor.
Christopher R Taylor
Most stretching characters are pretty interchangable, although she used hers more creatively than often is portrayed. I usually focus a lot on defenses, because they're awfully hard to hurt. Not bulletproof but resilient: damage reduction is perfect for stretchers. L0rd_Magg0t
Oh she needs her "Ball form". mrinku
Some of this may depend on which edition. 6e seems to have greatly loosened up things, allowing more change of body shape without needing to buy limited Desolid, for example, by spending points for that effect. Someone with three levels of size adjustment (+15 pt adder) would be able to move through a gap 1/8 the size of their widest dimension (usually shoulders or hips). That's clearly not Reed-Richards-pouring-himself-through-a-small-air level (which IS probably best done as limited desolid), but I think enough levels of that adder would cover most of the tricks she does in the movie. 1/16 thickness would allow x2 height and x8 width, which should allow her to wrap herself around the kids easily enough, I'd think. If you need a maneuver and not just a "good creative use of powers", she's blocking against an attack directed at another person or possibly diving for cover to achieve that aim. Stretch Fu is always good, and extra DCs with it add to the effective STR for Grabs, Disarms, Escapes etc. That, in conjunction with her great durability may be enough to allow for holding on to the RV. It's been a while since I saw it... does she *lift* it or just grab and hang on? She'd need around 35 STR, but I'd rule that in this case STR from Stretch Fu maneuvers and +DC would apply. Being used as a human slingshot is more situational - rebounding an incoming object's momentum could be done as a Martial Throw, and being pulled back by another person to launch a missile is probably best done as a Throw by the other guy using co-ordination to add her STR to theirs. DasBroot
She doesn't 'lift it', per se - she just endures the strain on her body it causes (with pain) while 'tied' to the glider. That's more 'partially withstanding the crushing damage' than 'lifting' to me but it doesn't explain being able to hold on while under that strain - other than the mechanical advantages of wrapping her arms several times around each side of the glider before holding on, like using wrist straps to increase your grip strength while lifting weights. So... Power roll for a one-off stunt for that scene?
Cassandra
I have modified it by reducing her NCM and using those points to give her STR +35 (50 STR Total) as a reflection of her stretching ability. That means she her NCM would be about 60 mph instead of 120 mph.
Cassandra
Oh she needs her "Ball form". The scene where the plane explodes and she wraps herself around her kids to protect them from the blast. http://i.imgur.com/eIp9ltr.gif I think that's her just grabbing her kids and shielding with her body. Otherwise a Force Field usable by Others.
Clonus
Oh she needs her "Ball form". The scene where the plane explodes and she wraps herself around her kids to protect them from the blast. http://i.imgur.com/eIp9ltr.gif I don't think you need to buy that separately. She's elastic and just wrapping her body around others to give them the benefit of her armor.
