Still not helping. The big question is, for those who use Tower, how do you make sure he is not confused with Gargantua. Is it simply the fact that he is not as huge as Gargantua? Or did you do some other power combination to make him feel different that Gargantua?

Is there any description of Tower anywhere?

I think somewhere in the 4th edition VIPER book, and only as a name of a super powered agent. Not even a power, but with the name Tower, what would you expect his powers to be?

A text search of the 4E VIPER PDF doesn't reveal any character named Tower.

Do you mean Citadel?

My signature character was a member of a hero duo called Assault and Battery.

I just remembered I had a villain duo called Smash and Grab.

My favorite duo names came from 4E Champions of the North, a mind-controlling mentalist partnered with a brick with ice powers. They called themselves, "Rime and Reason."

No. I mean Tower. But Citadel is another good lost villain. Brick + Invisibility.

And I only said he MIGHT of been mentioned in 4ed VIPER. It is now obvious that I misremembered the book.

I swear Tower was a name for an example in BBB. Anyways what if he was a Brick with Growth and able to project Force Walls?

Wow. That's an idea I haven't thought up.

Thx. I’m usually not super original. I just figure with a name like Tower,  it implies protection-hence Force walls. And hey, why not mix it up a little with powers? Also maybe some sort of enhance sight? Maybe telescopic? Or Danger sense? Since Towers were built to see enemies in advance.

I got a chance to check it out and Tower is used in the BBB under Growth example of when you take Body grown and then shrink down to normal. He’s listed as 60pt of Growth.

Thanks. Now, does the examples say he is with VIPER?

That also reminds me, that there is a Marvel mutant named Tower. That might be where I got the growth/shrinking combo.

Towers are also built because of ego.

I even have a background for him. He was a VIPER scientist who got no respect. He was told to go to his Ivory Tower. Then the accident ocurred. Now with the ability to grow, he can now Tower over the puny agents and their minds. He also has the ability to project force walls and bubbles. He is currently trying to find a way to enhance his other mental abilities.

I started to write up Tower then I got to Growth. Wow that is different now in CC! But not unmanageable just gotta go a different route.

Well, he could be stuck in a huge size...

Or another interesting thought: give him the growth power, but it is not "growth" at all. Instead, he surrounds himself in a forcefield which makes him look like a semi-transparent humanoid midevil castle tower. It's the same thing, but a different special effect than "normal".

Kinetron and Caliber, from 4th Edition High Tech Enemies and 4th Edition Dark Champions respectively. Kinetron is an absolute monster when charged up, capable of tossing around your typical hero team. Where Kinetron is smart hammer, Caliber is a scapel wielded by a maniac. You got a tough hero with a weakness to certain attack? Caliber can tailor himself to deal with it. Need to lay down cover fire for the Viper agents to get away and not reveal your position? Caliber's got it handled. Need a nutjob willing to go out the front of the bank and shoot it out with the cops? Caliber. Or his future replacement, which of course Viper will equip after the latest one gets himself killed.

Honorable mentions to Boomerang and Starhand from 4E Challenges for Champions, and Buzzsaw and Wallbanger from 4E Champions Presents #2. All four are great simple mooks. Wallbanger has the same gimmick as Kinetron which makes him pretty dangerous despite being only middling power wise, Boomerang is your typical blaster, Starhand is a brick with a couple of neat tricks and Buzzsaw your close combat specialist.

Honorable mentions to Boomerang ... from 4E Challenges for Champions,

Gosh darn. I don't have Challenges for Champions, and I've been planning on creating a character called Boomerang for my current project.

Because the Astonishing Wombat-Man needs villains...

I should have mentioned, that's how I use those characters - as written in 4th Edition, only Kinetron is directly a Viper goon. As for Boomerang, she's nothing particularly special even if she thinks so. Just a mook with an electrified Boomerang (a physical RKA with a conditional electrical EB if someone touches the boomerang unprotected) and as presented in CfC, the character details might be off.

Sorta like “Apache Chief” in Young Justice.

Oh and Tower is the same example in Fifth revised. No mention if Hero or Villain.

Where did I make the association between Tower and VIPER? Ideally it should be in one of the 4th edition books, but which one...?
