Working on skill sets next.  

 

I've keep the attacks at a max of 10d6 or 50 active points for any power.  I've also avoided all powers that would unbalance the game like Desolid, Transform (except Instant Change), Flashes, and Drains.  Life Support currently is for those Superheroes who operate at sea.

This produces weird and non-transparent probabilities.

 

Alternatively, assuming you want each option to be equally likely, you could divide the 11 options into 2 groups - one of 6, one of 5. Choose a 6th option for the second group - even if it's just roll again.

 

So to choose an archetype, you roll to choose which table (group) to use. 1-3 the first group, 4-6 the second. Then you roll on the corresponding table.

 

So you get:

 

Superhero Type - Roll 1d6

 

1-3 Use Table 1

4-6 Use Table 2

Actually I have a solution for that.  You roll 2d6 and go to the Hero listed.  Then you roll 2d6 again using that hero as the starting point.  That should randomize the rolls enough.

 

This is unclear. What does "using that hero as the starting point" actually mean?

I'm working on a few new options.

 

I have the write up of a Energy Projector using Telekinesis.  The Gadgeteer will be updated with basically all the powers in the various multipowers.

I've put up a new Speedster with STR and Stretching, and replaced the Speedster with Desolid with one with Invisibility [Sight] and ES: PER +1.

 

I've replaced the Energy Projector with Desolid with one with Flash [Sight] and Images [Sight/Hearing].
