Channing Tatum's Gambit Film Is Finally, Really, Actually Happening

I am an X-Men fan but there are certain characters I do not like such as Cameron Hodge after they made him immortal, Amahl Farouk and Gambit.

A Storm film ? Yes. Nightcrawler ? Yes. Colossus ? Yes.

But Gambit ?

Seriously ?

Have to agree with the trend of the thread so far. Gambit is an extremely dull character and I always hated the way he was constantly linked with the otherwise interesting Rogue.

I always sort of liked the Gambit character when I read comics. He wasn't the greatest character but he wasn't the worst either. For me, he was solidly middle of the road. I want to see a trailer to get some vague idea where they are going with it. I'll cast my lot then.

Oh Gambit's not so bad.

And I've noticed he has a lot of fans among the ladies. If that appeal can translate onto the screen, a lot of girl geeks will be dragging their boyfriends to see this. :)

Especially with someone like Tatum in the role.
