Origin:  Whitney Diana Kira Taylor is the daughter of the superheroes Stalwart and Liberty, and from them she inherited her strength and ability to fly..  She was given the Crystal Bow by Hera, her great-grandmother, which grants her the power of invisibility.  With the help of her the crime fighter Nemesis she modified the arrows to give her a wide variety of attacks.  Diana, as she prefers, works for Taylor Industries, and is a member of the United Superheroes of America.

 

Appearance: Diana Taylor is a tall beautiful woman with red hair and blue eyes, and appears to be in her early 20s.  As Artemis wears a short white tunic style dress, with gold bracelets, belt, necklace, and black boots and quiver.  Her bow is made of crystal, and she can summon it at will.

Origin:  Luna Knight is the sister of the St. John Knight, who is the powered armor villain Paladin.  A lab experiment gone wrong gave Luna light based powers.  Although well off, Luna uses her powers to steal.  She currently has a grudge against Artemis, a superheroine who defeated her early in her career.

 

Appearance:  Luna Knight is a pretty brunette in her early 30s, and speaks with a British accent.  As Moonlight she wears a black leotard, boots, long gloves, and mask, with a silver crescent moon on her chest, and a silver sash around her waist.

Origin:  Samuel Edward Trask was the attorney to Niles "Scooter" King, owner of King Motors, a large automotive manufacturing company.  He used King's interest in Ancient Egypt to manipulate him into becoming the super-villain Pharaoh.  Black Cat and Cleopatra freed the Pharaoh from his influence, but Trask escaped with the Crown of Set, a powerful magic device.  On his first outing as a super-villain Set was stopped by Artemis and he has vowed revenge.

 

 

Appearance:  Samuel Edward Trask is a distinguished looking man in his 40s.  As Set he wears an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh costume.  The Crown of Set is silver, with three corba heads, each with a pair of ruby eyes which glow when he uses it's power.

Origin:  Alexandria "Scarlett" King is the daughter of Automotive Manufacturer Niles "Scooter" King.  Her father developed an obsession with Ancient Egypt after his wife, an actress, died shortly after making a movie about Cleopatra.  One of the items he collected was a necklace worn by the Egyptian Queen.  Trying it on it magically transferred Cleopatra's powers to her.  She used them to help free her father from the influence of the super-villain Set, and has continued her career as a superheroine ever since.

 

Appearance:  Scarlett is an attractive black woman who appears in her early 30s.  Her costume is a long white gown, trimmed in black, with a gold crown, bracelets, belt, and sandals.

Origin:  John Taylor is the son of the superheroes Ultraman and Raven, and he inherited his powers from his father, and his interest in criminology from his mother.  He took over Taylor Industries at the age of 21 when his father was elected President of the United States.  As a superhero he met and fell in love with Liberty, and they eventually married.  The actions of a time traveler brought their son and daughter from the future at the age of 20, and John came up with the idea of explaining their presence by claiming it was the result of flying through the Bermuda Triangle was Liberty was pregnant.

 

Appearance:  John Taylor is a handsome well built man with black hair and blue eyes.  As Stalwart he wears a white costume with a row of gold buttons running up his left side, with red boots, and a blue belt and cape.

Origin:  Aurora landed on the planet Nova Britannia in a space craft as an infant.  The third planet in the Epsilon Eridani star system was colonized by Jupiter some 2000 years ago, and he ruled them for 500 years.  Raised by a group of scientist Aurora proved to be very intelligent, and developed a natural interest in astronomy.  When she was 16 she was watching the first Nova Britannia lunar landing, saw the space craft was in trouble, and instinctively used superpowers to rescue it.  The population feared she would use her powers to take over the planet, but that thought never occurred to her.  Over the next three years she explored the nearby star systems and coming upon a probe from Earth she decided to visit in hopes of finding out her origin.  

 

Appearance:  Aurora is a very tall beautiful women with black hair and green eyes, and she speaks with a British accent..  Her costume is a black bodysuit trimmed in red.  As her secret identity of Brit Tory she disguises her identity by using an American accident.

Appearance:  Myron Merlin Gordon is a medium height well built young man who gives off an arrogant and unfriendly attitude.  His normal costume is a yellow bodysuit with green boots, belt, and cape.

Origin:  Juno is the Ancient who was the Queen of the Roman Pantheon.  After the fall of Rome she traveled the world and ended up in America during the Revolution.  Joining the Continental Army she earned America citizen ship after the war.  Over the next two hundred years she worked as a U.S. Marshal in the Old West, a John Hopkins Medical School trained Physician, and a Stage Actress.  During the 1940s she became a member of the United Superheroes of America.  In the 1970s she played Lady Liberty, a fictionalized TV version of the super heroine adventures.  She has recently returned after a 20 year retirement.

 

Appearance:  Juno is a very tall beautiful woman with brown hair and green eyes, and appears to be in her mid-30s.  Her costume is a long sleeveless red gown with black gladiator sandals, and a gold necklace, belt, and bracelets.

Origin:  Commander Sukune Sakai was one of Japan's top Naval Fighter Pilots when he was recruited into Naval Intelligence.  He has lived in the United States before the war and spoke perfect English, and was trained as an assassin.  His code of honor prevents him from striking an unaware target, but even when he presents himself to his victim he usually comes out the winner. 

 

Appearance:  Sukune Sakai is a handsome and well built japanese man who seems to be in his early 30s.  He wears a red and white costume the resembles the Japanese Navy Battle flag.

Origin:  Cassidy Young was a U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer who was assigned to watch the superhuman Neptune.  On the night before Germany declared war on the United States it's agents began assassinating all known superhumans in America.  A group of Nazi Spies attacked and stabbed Neptune with a poisoned dagger.  Before they could finish him off Cassidy shot the three Spies, and was wounded in the hip in the process.  As she tried to tend to Neptune's wound, his cousin Poseidon arrived, and returned him to Atlantis.  Before he left he rewarded Cassidy with a magic Trident which gave her superhuman abilities.  She now uses them to fight the Axis as Columbia. 

 

Appearance:  Cassidy Young is a tall beautiful woman with red hair and blue eyes.  As Columbia she wears a red, white, and blue swimsuit, with blue boots and red and white trim, and gold bracelets.  She can summon a gold trident at will.

Origin:  Wilhelm Drexler was an agent of Abwehr, German military intelligence, who volunteered for an experiment which gave him superhuman powers (actually this was a lie he was told.  He naturally possessed powers but Nazi scientist took credit for it.)  He was trained to go undercover as a superhero in America to discover the identities of those with powers in the U.S..  Working as reporter William Dexter he wrote pro-Axis stories and did his best to keep America out of the war.  As Captain Atlas he joined the League of Heroes, and was responsible for it's destruction the night before Germany declared War on the United States.  Exposed as a traitor by Raven, he was finally captured by Miss Freedom during the events known as The Philadelphia Experiment.

 

Appearance:  Wilhelm Drexler/William Dexter is a well built man with black air and blue eyes.  As Captain Atlas he wore a blue costume with a Globe on his chest, and Green boots and cape.  As Captain Axis he wore a red costume with a Swastika on the Globe, and black boots and cape.

While in theory you could throw juggling pins and cream pies that distance, in practice the target would be a lot closer.
