LOVE TAKES TIME

Happy Halloween, Herophiles! Instead of candy we’ve got a heapin’ helpin’ of books for ya. ;) Shipments of the Sixth Edition, the Basic Rulebook, and the Advanced Player’s Guide are heading out from our Nevada warehouses just as fast as Tina, Jason, and the rest of the Warehouse Crew can pack ’em and put ’em on UPS trucks. Lots of customers have received theirs already, and the rest are on their way. ;)

And there’s more on the way where that came from! I put aside work on Champions for 6E earlier this week because Fred got The Ultimate Base layouts done in double-quick time. By the time this is posted I should be just about done reviewing and revising the manuscript so we can get it off to the printer. Then it’s back to superheroic fun.

In my copious spare time I’m continuing to work on a big campaign called STORMlords for my local gaming group. I’ve started a blog here on the website so anyone who’d like to find out more or “watch” the development process in action can do so. Check it out. :)

Shipping Changes

And now for a bit of slightly less pleasant news. Due to recent increases in shipping costs, we’ve reached the point where we’re going to have to start charging a little something for orders of hardcopy books shipped from the Online Store. We don’t like to have to do it, and we’re going to keep S&H charges as low as we can, but shipping expenses have risen to the point where they’re biting into the bottom line a bit too much.

Here’s how it’s going to work. Beginning November 9, we’ll start charging a modest shipping and handling fee for orders we have to ship (obviously this doesn’t apply to electronic products like PDFs). Orders up to that time will still be free, so now’s your chance to take advantage of free shipping if you want it! The S&H schedule will be:

Orders up to $30: $3 S&H

Orders from $31-60 $5 S&H

Orders from $61-99: $7 S&H

Orders $100 or more: free shipping and handling!

International orders (anywhere outside the US): $10 S&H for any amount up to $99; free for orders of $100 or more
