Not much new to report this week — just more of the same. ;) Champions Universe and The HERO System Bestiary are both at the printer and still on track for Origins. I’m still laser-focused on revising/writing the new edition of Fantasy Hero. The manuscript is now Fantasy quote-a-riffic and I’m making great progress updating/expanding the character creation rules. This is gonna be one awesome book when I’m done. ;)

Convention Schedule

Convention season is nearly upon us! Here’s where Hero’s going to be this summer:

KublaCon (Burlingame, CA, May 28-30; http://www.kublacon.com/): Jason and Tina will be attending this show on Hero’s behalf. Come out, say hi, and find out what Hero’s up to!

Origins (Columbus, OH, June 23-27; http://www.originsgamefair.com/): Steve is the RPG Guest of Honor at Origins this year, so he’ll be involved in all sorts of activities, including events where you can join him for a breakfast and “Play With The Creator” games where he’ll be a player during RPG sessions you can sign up for. And of course we’ll have lots of great books at the Hero booth!

DexCon (Morristown, NJ, July 7-11; http://www.dexposure.com/dexcon13.html): Darren and Jason will be attending this con, allegedly to sell Hero products and do RPG-related stuff, but really to play a lot of poker. Please bring your spare change. ;)

GenCon (Indianapolis, IN, August 5-8; http://www.gencon.com/2010/indy/default.aspx): The biggest con of the year! We’ll be debuting the new Fantasy Hero, selling lots of other game books, and doing lots of other fun things!
