  2. Thunder & Lightning reimagined as...Assault & Battery

This is a re-imagined version of the classic villain duet Thunder & Lightning (Margaret and John Harrington, respectively) as Assault & Battery. Assault (Margaret Westfeld) is inspired by Thunder as a physical powerhouse and Battery (John Westfeld) is an electrical energy projector based off of Lightning.

One of the scenarios I developed had them working for a government sponsored team known as Task Force Sentinel that is responsible for protecting the families of superheroes in their civilian identities from threats like VIPER.

  3. "Coffin" Kirk and Tank

Here is a writeup for Brian "Coffin" Kirk and his ever-present sidekick, Tank. "Coffin" Kirk (so-named for his dead-pan stare) appeared in seven stories in Flying Aces magazine (October 1937 to June 1941). Written by Arch Whitehouse, the "Coffin" Kirk stories detail his battles against the evil Circle of Death in the skies over various parts of the world.

  4. The Exterminators Reimagined

Here's the final product of an on-again/off-again project...re-imagining the paranoid and trigger-happy Exterminators from the Champions 4th Edition source book Alien Enemies. Included are Microsoft Word and Hero Files of the characters. Here's a quick snapshot of the re-imagined characters:

Slick a.k.a. Stan Sneiderwind is now Dagger a.k.a. Pierce Fairchild, the narcissistic public face of the team
Specs a.k.a. Dr. Maxwell Sanders is now Mentor a.k.a. Dr. Gregory Murdock, a brilliant but paranoid scientist
Bruiser a.k.a. Jud Hogan is now Barricade a.k.a. Leon Jackson, a former mixed martial arts fighter using this to launch his action movie career
Trekkie a.k.a. Silvia Briggs is now Starbright a.k.a. Silvia Rodriguez, a geeky astronomer and sci-fi afficianado
Gizmo a.k.a. Dwight Brinkley is now Hardware a.k.a. Dwight Aoki, their weapons engineer who loves to tinker

    Enjoy! 😉

  8. Glimmer/Shimmer The Assassin 682cp points

Curiouser and curiouser I see you there looking about me through the looking glass. You can call me Glimmer or somethings Shimmer When my other half takes control. I’m a world-class assassin. I take on contracts from anyone for anything as long as the pay is good So if you want to hire me to kill someone all you have to do is hit that little download button.

Excuse me a contract just came in. I’ll let the writer take back control now.

She’s a thrill-seeker with a fake history that even once you dig past it you find nothing. There are no records on her whatsoever Except for the suit. People who know what the suit is know what the suit is. Know it was created to lets people travel through mirrors for the US government to create a new generation of spies. The creator of the suit Alice Robinson was also the tester of the suit and on the first official test vanished into the mirror world and never came back. The project was shut down. Then 40 years later, someone named Ruby Robinson has been found using the suit and acting as an assassin for the rich and powers and but sometimes is found taking orders from mirrors. People who have seen her face believe it's Alice's daughter using her mother’s technology in horrible ways but, Ruby is Alice. Her mind fractured entering the mirror universe. It’s unknown the things she saw in there or who she did not age.

  14. Ms. Victory (Joan Wayne, Jennifer Burke)

Here are my character write-ups for AC Comics' Ms. Victory, featuring the original (Joan Wayne) and her daughter who was her temporary replacement (Jennifer Burke). Both are roughly each other's equal in power levels at around 400 points for 6th Edition. In the few times I brought them to a game convention, players who had heard of Ms. Victory used her for the scenario (the original was generally preferred since she could fly).

The Hero Designer Files and character sheets in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF are included in the Zip file for both 5th and 6th Edition.

    Enjoy! 😉

  15. Updated Solitaire versions

Here are my updated incarnations of Solitaire (Elaine King) from 4th Edition Champions and Solitaire (Shannon Havelock) from Champions: The New Millennium for 6th Edition. They are what I considered "experienced" versions of the character, as the original stats were "rookie" versions, with an updated design for each.

Included are the Hero Designer files, Adobe PDF,  and Microsoft Word versions in case you want to tailor make some changes for your campaign.

  16. Flare for 6th Edition

This is my interpretation of the character Flare introduced in the League of Champions comic book series decades ago and featured in the cover art of various early Champions RPG books. Special thanks to Hero forum members pblemguy for referring me to the post where fan contributors worked on the character write-ups of these "old-school" characters and Cassandra, since her write-up of Flare served as my starting point. 🙂

She is at 425 points, which is the equivalent of what I would refer to as an, "Experienced" version in terms of the HeroClix frame of reference (i.e. Rookie, Experienced, Veteran).

  17. Defender and Quantum

These are new incarnations of Defender and Quantum from the Champions team that are a blend of 4th Edition and New Millennium versions that were the inspiration behind their design. This version of Defender is Johnny Harmon, another member of the famed Harmon family legacy and Quantum is Oreithya Allen (goes by Oya for short), the niece of Starlyn Johnson, the original Quantum. At 450 points, she's a bit more powerful that the standard hero starting out (400 points) due to her origin story where she was mentored and trained by her aunt, giving her an added advantage.

Attached are the PDF and Hero Designer files.

  20. Shining Force

Around the mid to late 1990s, there was a long gap for me in being able to participate in RPG sessions. To fill that void, I played Shining Force and Shining Force II on the Sega Genesis console. They were fun games at the time and "scratched that proverbial itch." More recently, I saw them being featured on the re-released Sega Genesis 30th Anniversary console as part of the 40-game package provided. Seeing it again made me feel nostalgic, so I wrote up stats for some of the key characters. My intent was to keep those characters simple and reasonably replicate them from the game. If used them at an event, they would be for players who were new to the Hero System.

The characters featured are Maximillian (main hero the player uses), Mae (centaur knight), Anri (human mage), and Luke (dwarf fighter) in a Zip file with Adobe pdf and Hero Designer files.

    Enjoy! 🙂

  21. Villain Trio - Shadowblade, Mistress Arcane, and Duraig

One of the story arcs I developed was to feature the descendants of Black Paladin, Black Magus, and Malais the Dragon. The result was the creation of Shadowblade, Mistress Arcane, and Duraig the Dragon.

    Enjoy! 🙂
