Resurrection
If a character with 10 BODY is taken down to -20 BODY from an attack, and the Healing with Resurrection power is used on him, does the Healing start from -20 BODY (the character's final BODY total) or -10 (the point at which the character died)?

When using the «Cover» maneuver, can a character choose a specific hit location? (i.e. the Head)

Energy Blast That Only Does Knockback
I would like to create an Area Of Effect Energy Blast that does no actual damage beyond that incurred as the result of knockback. What would the limitation “Only Does Knockback†be worth for this power? I am trying to simulate a gust of wind that can blow opponents away, but which does no actual damage in and of itself. I’ve examined the various conventional methods that are used to simulate this ability, but I find them all lacking. I don’t like Telekinesis, for instance, because the attack should not disable two of the opponent’s limbs, and opponents should be able to resist the power by using standard knockback resistance. TUV question
If a vehicle uses the optional rules to add INT/Ego to the vehicle, is this INT similar to the int of a computer (Must have programs for everything) or of an Automation (follows X numbers of simple commands)?

Multiform follow up
I had forgot to mention in the previous question that the idea was future forms purchased. Basically instead of spend 5 EP and gaining double the forms, have them pay 2 pts for each new form. Hope this clarifies a bit.

Multiform question
I was wondering. Do you see a problem to have a character pay X amount of points per form instead of 5 points to double the forms? I was thinking of 2 points per form after buying the initial X2 forms for 5 pts

Silly Summons Question
Character has Summon imps x4, 4 charges okay does this mean he can summon 4 imps, each imp takes a charge or he can summon a total of 16 imps, in batches of 4 really silly question that occured when asking this, if it is the latter, could he turn the charges into "fuel charges" to allow him still to summon a batch of up to 4, but if he only chooses to summon 2, he can still summon 14 more (max batch still being 4)

Takeoff/Landing and Gliders
TUV has the Takeoff/Landing limitation for flying vehicles that aren't VTOL capable. Could the same limitation apply to gliders, or is it considered included in the lower cost of Gliding vs Flight? (In the setting in question, there's no one around who can toss the glider into the air like a paper airplane, so towing is the only option.)

Purchasing Enhanced Senses
In Hero Designer, one may purchase Discriminatory Sense (Detect) for 5 points. One may also purchase Detect and then click on Discriminatory and this is 8 points. Similarly, Analyze Sense (Detect) is 5 points while Detect with Analyzed clicked on is 13 points. How are they different? Which is correct? Richard

Subtle mental attacks which fail
Is there an order of precedence for effect level versus perceptibility of mental attacks ? A 10D6 mind control power is used against an EGO 10 character with no mental defence, aiming for an EGO+10 affect with an additional +20 so the target won't notice the attack (so the attacker hopes to roll a total of 40). a) If the roll is 20, is the mind control in effect or not, and is it noticed ? If the roll is 30; is the mind control in effect or not, and is it noticed ? I can see a case for the target being unaware or aware in both cases above, and being affected or not in both cases. I could let dramatic sensibilities rule, but was curious what the off…

Force Field Multi-Power question
Steve, I know if you have a multi-power slot that is not fixed in Force Field it needs to keep the same PD/ED ratio. Is it legal to buy to non-fixed Force Field slots (say Force Field 20/0 and Force Field 0/20), each slot would cost 4 points and you would control the amount of Force Field vs. each attack.

More than Two Weapon combo
Okies steve here is the question : I have a race (Dralasites) who can have multible limbs (something on the order of 8+/-) Now then If I wanted to expand the Two weapon combo to make the sweep bigger should I charge 5 points per additional attack at no penalties or something different? this is for both fantasy and Sci Fi. I'm looking for generic "in the rules" balance not campaign specific, TWC does not seem to have a real pricing breakdown so I'm guessing here.

Star Hero Forcewalls
Hi Steve, I noticed that many of the ships in Star Hero have force walls as their primary defense. However, they don't have Indirect on their attack powers. Is this intentional, so that ships can only fire while the force wall is down, or is this an oversight?

Follow up on compound powers
Can a character put two or more powers in that are only linked by F/X (but not necesarily by any rules) For instance, Jet gliderwings in a inventors 30 MP 5" Flight: Fuel Charge lasting an hour (I think that is a +0, Away from book right now) 20" Gliding all as one slot in his MP,

CON stunned and PRE attacked
This one came up in our FH campaign over the weekend... On page 274 under "Recovering from Being Stunned" the second paragraph says that "Recovering from being Stunned requires a Full Phase", the third paragraph also makes reference to "the character's next full Phase after he is Stunned." 1) What if the character has lost half a phase due to being Presence attacked? If someone is presence attacked and loses half their phase, then gets CON stunned, are they stunned for the present phase because they don't have a full phase available AND until their next full phase rolls around? -DG

Find Weakness followup
If you find weakness at a high level in your framework, could you drop the points in the framework to the level you made the roll by? For example, a multipower has find weakness on 15- for 30 active points. The character rolls a 11 and finds weakness. Can the character then drop the points 'locked' in the multipower to 10, or is he stuck having to use the full 30 points?

How much leaping does a character get from a STR of 8? Is it 2" or 1.5"? And is the noncombat 4" or 3"?

Missile Deflection
Hi Steve, If an area effect or explosion attack has a 'can be missile deflected' limitation, or a physical limitation 'can be missile deflected' like the nuclear missile in Star Hero, what happens when it gets deflected? Does it simply do no damage, or does it still explode and do damage if you're caught in the area effect?

Compound Powers?
Am I correct in assuming that a Compound Power is like a Linked Power were you cannot choose to use one or the other .. you have to use both of them?

Am I doing this right?
I want a damage shield with charges that last one full turn. Is it: +3/4 damage shield but -1/2 4 charges that each last one turn? Rules say I can only use continuing charges with constant or persistant powers. But I don't think they had this sort of thing in mind. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks theskaven

Transfer Variable Effect
Whisper has an Energy Transfer power that allows her to either transfer an enemies BODY to her BODY or an enemies STUN to her STUN. Would this power be the +1/4 version of Variable advantages or would this require two +1/4 advantages?
