I was just wondering if there was a reason MMM was not available in PDF format from the store.

Has there been only one printing of the rulebook, both PDF and print? I mean, has there been any updates to the book since initial release (errata, etc)?

A quick question about the character packs. I am considering the Villain volumes but would also like them in the designer format. Unfortunately I am not really interested in paying for basically the same content twice, so I was wondering if the Background tab is populated with the character information in these packs or is it just the stat blocks? Basically if it is stats only then I will just buy the pdf's and enter the stat blocks for combat manager as required, but if the descriptives are included the I will just buy the character pack/s.

Is there anyone on here in the UK with a copy of Turakian Age that might be for sale, or know of a store near them with a copy. I have the PDF already, and if I buy a copy from the HERO store (that includes the PDF) it will cost me twice the book price in shipping alone, hence looking at alternatives.

Is there anyone on here in the UK with a copy of Pulp HERO 5th that might be for sale, or know of a store near them with a copy. Does the store have any copies hidden away that are not listed in the Store section, only the PDF (which I have) which my other alternative is to get printed.

You can purchase the PDF for Ultimate base here. I've been having a hard time getting the cover image to stick, but you can trust me on this one: the cover is awesome.

I just want to call out the great packaging Hero Games uses for shipping physical books. I've noted this with every order I've made, but didn't think to post about it. For those that haven't ordered physical books from Hero before, the books themselves come in a box that is the perfect size for them. It's multi-depth so it accommodates different numbers of books. That box is then put in a larger shipping box for extra protection. That larger box has the corner inserts to keep it from being crushed. Add a few packing peanuts on top to fill the height of the shipping box and you've got a package that isn't going to shift around, or get crushed during shipping. I don…

It's been well over a year sinceThe Monster Hunter International Employee Handbook was released, so we're now making the three supplements backers received available to the general public (see the front page): Adventures In Monster Hunting features six scenarios for the MHI RPG. Each of them is relatively simple and straightforward, perfect for new GMs and players to cut their teeth on but still plenty of fun for experienced GMs and players. They are: >The New Kids In Town, in which the PCs go into the field for the first time and find themselves taking on a nest of wererats >Gimme That Old One Religion, which pits the PCs against a cult that worships…

Hello everyone! I've been going through the painfully expensive process of catching up on 6e and acquiring all the core books in physical book form that I can find. So far I've met with success with everything except the 6e HS Grimoire. Was this ever released in physical book form? Or was it only a PDF release? (I'm also curious about the HS Skills book, but I think I already know the answer to that one...)

Hero Games is proud to present a supplement for Champions by Dean Shomshak. There's A Thin Line Between Genius And EVIL Sky-Q is such a good "smart drug," it's a shame it's illegal. Users gain an hour of better memory and concentration -- followed by fatigue, irritability, and other unpleasant side effects. A few steady users gain much more: They master exotic sciences and invent radical new technologies. On the other hand, they develop bizarre, megalomaniac obsessions and become supervillains! Some of them are loopy "theme gadget" criminals. Others are rather less funny. Here's what you get in SHARED ORIGINS: SKY-Q: * Background and game mechanics for Sky-Q, the s…

Has this site ported over the 6e errata? I cannot seem to find it, and google referenced the old site's links. Thanks for the information and/or links.

Coming this August from BlackWyrm Games, Michael Surbrook's Larger Than Life is a guide to the world of American tall-tales. It presents more than 20 different well-known (and not so well-known) archetypes from American folklore, ranging from Blackbeard the Pirate to Nikola Tesla the Inventor. Along the way you’ll also encounter soldiers, sailors, and scouts, as well as backwoodsmen, lumberjacks, mountain men, outlaws, lawmen, emperors, and Indian chiefs. Each archetype presented in Larger Than Life is fully written up for 6th Edition HERO System. In addition, along with the primary archetype, there are biographies and descriptions of numerous secondary examples of the a…

I've got HERO Basic, and will be getting Champions complete soon. Anyhow, I wan to introduce my friends to HERO, but none of them have played anything similar except for one guy with a bad experience. I'm afraid to overwhelm them, so I think, at least the first time out, using pre-tabbed stuff might help for powers and the like. What are the quintessential HERO/Champions books for beginners/new players? I'm going to start them off with Basic, and after maybe a campaign see if they can handle full-on HERO/Champs. One, two books at most. PDF please. Mods - if this is in the wrong or less than ideal forum, could you move it? Sorry >_<

As a suggestion for 3PP, why not put your books on POD? I'm interested in a print copy of "Here Be Dragons", for example, but I didn't have the cash to spare when it was available in print. In addition, you could offer the product in formats that weren't available with the original print run, like hardcover/softcover (if it was originally available in softcover/hardcover). I know I, for one, strongly prefer hardcover books for simple durability. Just a thought; I don't know what market factors might play in.

I found a Hero Games book on another site the name Hero system equipment guide. I could not find it here in the HG product line. Does it exist here? Or is it perhaps subsumed by the Gadgets & Weapons Book? I'm looking for mundane Hero-level equipment. http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/86532/Hero-System-Equipment-Guide?filters=0_0_10010_0_0

SUPER SORCERY GOES GALACTIC Earth is not the only world with mystics and magic. Spells of the Devachan reveals a wider cosmos of spirits and sorcery: • More than 30 spells of thaumaturgy, the light-show magic used by comic-book super-mages. Most are new. A few spells from past HERO System publications are revised for 6th Edition. • A new setting and background for thaumaturgy. Mystics of many worlds join the occult society called the Devachan, ready to become allies and mentors for human super-mages. • A new treatment of astral projection and the Astral Plane, the mystic dimension that connects all worlds and realms of existence — now revised for 6th Edition and expan…

I am not sure if this is intentional or a bug. Does anyone have this PDF who can verify? On the map of the fortress, every room is full of a big black elongated box. It looks like it could be labels for the rooms but the font went afoul. I using Adobe Reader X. Whatever that is.
