This may not be the best place for this, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Once upon a time I had a HERO Games coffee mug. You guys may remember them, it had the game stats for mug on the side. I loved that mug, but somewhere, between buying the house and getting divorced, it disappeared. Now, I looked on the products list and see a link to the CafePress page, but it doesn't seem to work. Does this product still exist? Because, if it does, I'd love to buy enough of them for each of my players when I fire up my new Champions campaign (probably in 6 months). Help. I have money and want to buy things

From the back cover of Terracide: The Earth is No More Humanity was struggling to catch up with its alien neighbors when Terra ceased to exist. The attack had been a long time coming; It crossed lightyears of space before impact. Thousands of relativistic weapons swept across the system in a matter of hours, moving too swiftly for anyone to see them coming, try to escape, or to warn anyone else what was happening. When they struck the homeworld, the surface of Terra became a molten holocaust, and the oceans boiled away into the tortured skies. Every settlement on Luna, Mars, and the Galilean moons met the same fate. Colonies on smaller moons and asteroids s…

The shift to a crowd-funded publication model has some interesting implications I don't think have been fully grasped yet. It is a zero-sum game. Support given to any particular project is support taken away from another. This is true on both the consumer and production side. Obviously, consumers have finite cash to spend to support projects; I think everyone is aware of this. Less obvious is prioritizing the limited resources of the producers. As I've stated elsewhere, I would prefer to see Steve Long write and publish the long-discussed Profit and Purity supplement for Champions than the currently-floated Mythic Hero Kickstarter project. Its not that I hate the …

I didn't see a sticky thread for this specific book so that's why I'm posting it here; please forgive me if it's in the wrong place on the forum. This is an FYI. OK, I was in th process of creating a template for the Light War Horse in Hero Designer when I discovered that listed Characteristic cost for its PD is incorrect. The Light War Horse template is located on page 474 of the The HERO System Bestiary. It is showing that the Characteristic cost for a 7 PD is 2-points whereas the cost should be 5-points. Consequently, the Total Characteristics Cost should be listed at 101-points and not 98-points.

I've read some snippets here and there that say that BotE is done, but it's getting some kind of Kickstarter thingy going to do the printing...? Is there any chance of releasing the PDF now? Some of us are PDF only kinds of folks (PDF on tablet > hardcopy --- IMHO). I don't think I'm alone as this came up in an earlier thread. Anyway, I'll buy the PDF of BotE as soon as I can, but I'll never buy the hard copy, but potentially any PDF sales would help get the printing done for those that prefer that. Just an idea. -joe

Here’s our back-cover text describing DC:TAS: DARK AVENGERS OF THE NIGHT If you’re eager for the thrills and adventure of crimefighting but don’t like the guns and violence of regular Dark Champions campaigns, what you need is an “animated series” style campaign. Dark Champions: The Animated Series looks at the less grim side of vigilante crimebusting: caped crusaders with vigilante style but who refuse to kill; low-powered superheroes who fight street crime instead of world-threatening supervillains; “theme” villains with clever costumes and psychotic minds. Dark Champions: The Animated Series includes: —a discussion of the “animated series” sub…

Hi. I'm coming back to Champions after a long time out and wondering what I need to get back in to the game. I've browsed the site and seen the stuff on the 6th edition. Looks to be quite the change from the 3rd edition books that I have. There are a lot of books and that's confusing me. Can someone give me a list of the books that I should get to play (and GM) a game of Champions?

Hello there. What I need to know what maybe (certainly ?) already talked about somewhere, but I didn't find where in the forum, and I'm blonde enough this morning to not find it. I bought the 6th Edition two years ago and I'm happy about it. I possess most of the Ultimate 5th Ed books too, to help me with system and ideas, as technics is not my strength, and I use the old setting of Champions : the New Millenium. I'm tough willing to make it evolve somehow, mixing some of the new 6th Ed setting with it. I read with interest that a Book of the Empress is on the road to be edited, talking about the Lady Ishva'thavan (sorry for the ortographic errors if an…
