I am not sure if this is intentional or a bug. Does anyone have this PDF who can verify? On the map of the fortress, every room is full of a big black elongated box. It looks like it could be labels for the rooms but the font went afoul. I using Adobe Reader X. Whatever that is.

I see there are a handful of books for 5th that were not released in PDF, like Sharper than a Serpent's tooth, and some for Star Hero. Will those ever be made available as PDF?

So I've been following Hero System since right before the release of 5th Edition. Right after I finally got around to running my first (and sadly, only) Hero game, 5th Edition was replaced by 6th Edition. After many years I'm finally committing to getting my long-term gaming group into Hero, and I've just heard a rumor that 6th Edition books are going out of print. Is this true? If so, what is the future of Hero?

Here’s our back-cover text describing TA: WONDROUS ADVENTURE AWAITS THE BOLD! Welcome to Ambrethel, a High Fantasy world in need of great heroes. The Turakian Age depicts this world in all the detail and imagination desired by Fantasy Hero players and GMs, but with plenty of room for gamers to add their own distinctive touches. Hi all, I was hoping to get some information about all available published adventures for Champions (HERO System 5th Edition). Most HERO System books seem to concentrate more on character write-ups, backgrounds, history, and game rules rather than complete adventures that cover everything a GM may need (maps, detailed scenarios, plots). However, I have managed to find a few here and there. "Champions Battlegrounds" has a few. "Post-Apocalyptic Hero" has one (mostly). I just found out about "Foxbat For President" made by another company. Can anyone point me to others? Thanks, Sir Grail

I'd like to get the Hero Designer, but unfortunately the shop doesn't have any payment method that works for me. And getting those cards would propably cost more through Minimum contract duration and Monthly fees then the Designer is worth. I could get most of the other resources I needed from DriveThrugh RPG and other online Retailers, because they do accept PayPal and I can use PayPal even with my Bank (using the Wire Transfer System to transfer the cash to them). But the HD eludes me. I was once told it is possible to get shop items by directly transfering the money and getting a gift code worth the entire Product so I contacted HeroTina about it. Before we coul…

I apologize in advance if this is covered somewhere else. My browser's not letting me search correctly at the moment... I've got a couple of issues of the old Digital Hero PDF magazine. I'm old enough to remember the old Adventurer's Club magazine and I see how it was a continuation of that old format. I've seen references to the Digital Hero PDF magazine here in the store, but I can't get a good lead on back issues. Can anyone give me a solid link? Also, I know it's not being published anymore. Is there a resource here on the website that offers DH-like supplements? Thanks!

I've recently come upon my old and extensive stash of Hero System books, boxed away and forgotten, until now. This has sparked a new interest in Hero Games, Champions, and all of its products in general. I think the last book I purchased was The Ultimate Speedster (although I'm going through my books to be sure, but I keep getting distracted by slipping into reading the books in question); I may be wrong, but let's use that as a dividing point between The Books I Have and The Books I Don't Have. Now, I know that some of the books I missed out on are likely out of print. I have looked over everything in the store, but I believe that much is "missing", likely due to se…

I was contemplating a purchase of some books just before Christmas, but I had a few problems with my login. Those are fixed now and I am again thinking about buying some books. Two books I am potentially interested in are 6th ed Star Hero and 6th ed Fantasy Hero. I already own 5th ed for both books. I'm sure these questions have been asked a bunch of times, but can anyone tell me about the differences? Are there different characters, villains, magic items, spaceship builds, etc., between the two editions? Are the mechanical updates revelatory (in a genre sense) so that I would gain a bunch by buying the 6th ed to learn, for example, space combat? I have hea…

Is there any rhyme or reason to which products get bundled and which do not? I was thinking of picking up some of the 5e Ultimate books, and some have bundles but Energy Projector, at least, does not. That doesn't make much sense, since the reproduction cost for the pdf is just about zero. I can't think of any reason for some things to be bundled and others not.

Hi, sorry if this post is in the wrong forum but I still have a question. I haven't played CHAMPIONS in about 25 years or more but want to start again. I bought the rules for me and I would like to get another set for someone else as a gift. Can anyone tell me if there is an easy way to do this. Thanks.

Hello everyone! I'm new here. New to the forums and (mostly) new to Champions. Until now my only experience with Champions was way back with the release of the 4th edition hardcover. I was to be a player in a campaign that never got off the ground. We rolled up characters and that's as far as it went. I recall loving the character creation (I designed a shape shifter), though it really was too much freedom for me back then. I also remember feeling very nervous about the mechanics of the game. Still, I had never before played a superhero game and I really wanted to. Decades later, I've decided to get back into roleplaying and I'm going to run a superhero game (b…

Tom Rafalski's Cel-Maris Station provides a science-fiction mini-setting usable for the entire spectrum of roleplaying, from "realistic" to "space opera." Originally built to carry a large number of colonists to the fledgling Mars colony, the cycler station has been converted to a vacation cruise for the rich, absurdly wealthy, and those with Real Money.
