I haven't seen any opinions from him on the Snyderverse Superman, but he was a fan of Bryan Singer's Superman Returns, which is essentially a sequel to the Donner Cut of Superman II.

As an aside, watching old shows like Perry Mason, you see a lot of actors at the start of their career like David McCallum, some in the middle like Denver Pyle, and some holdovers from the fifties. I think one episode the guy from the mobster episode of Star Trek, Oxmix, was the victim, and I was like I know that guy.
