He practiced his trade for a time in Boston, often frequenting the tavern Cheers. It was in Boston where he met his now-estranged wife Lilith, with whom he had a son, Frederic. Upon moving back to Seattle, he took a job at a local radio station giving advice to callers. His father, a retired policeman, moved in with him. Personality/Motivation: Frasier is full of himself. He prides himself on his education and genteel upbringing. Unfortunately, his pride invariably causes to act pretentiously, even embarking on projects he has no idea how to manage (such as producing a play or running a restaurant). Of course, his plans always backfire, and he ends up making a complete fool of himself. His younger brother Niles often joins in on his schemes, as well as his fate. Powers/Tactics: Frasier is quick to jump to conclusions. He thinks his intelligence and breeding will always see him through to the end. However, he is usually wrong in that respect, as his poor judgment often overshadows his intelligence. Sadly, he never seems to learn from his mistakes. Appearance: Frasier is an average-looking man with balding brown hair. He is always well dressed. Frasier has a baritone voice and always sounds self-assured until his schemes fall apart. Then he sounds downright pathetic. Designer's Notes: I was sorely tempted to give Dr. Crane the Hunted disadvantage (Hunted 14- by God). But that fate should be reserved for truly hapless characters such as Basil Fawlty and Edmund Blackadder. I had to take a guess on his income level. He can afford a large apartment and support his father, but I doubt the radio station where he works pays him too much. Many thanks to Michael Surbrook for creating the character sheet. projecktzero
Very amusing. I watch the show when I can. I'd lower his str and body. Frasier's a wimp.
tkdguy
Well, there was that time he physically threw a guy out of a cafe. He and Niles had reserved the seat, and the guy took it. When he wouldn't give it up, Frasier picked him up by the neck and threw him out. Nightfly
It'd be funny to see Frasier go Berserker on someone sometime. Though somewhat "effete", he does strike me as someone who might blow-up and become like an angry grizzly if properly antagonized. I thought KG was decently cool in the film "15 Minutes" (co-starring Ed Burns & De Niro).
Agent X
Ummm, you might want to give the guy some resistant defense.

Teflon Billy
Just a small quibble I believe that both Niles and Frasier are Psychiatrists not a Psychologists. This is a bigger perk than psychology. A Psychiatrist can prescribe drugs. If I'm right, you'll need to adjust Frasier's skills a little. License to Practice Medicine (Psychiatry) I also think that the professional skills got cut off so PS: Psychiatry PS: Radio Show Host I'd definitely bump his Paramedic up, as he is an MD and went through medical school as well as residency. He might also need some Oratory. How many times have we seen him sway his brother or an audience with an impationed speech? That's all I could see to quibble with, and as the subject says it was just a small quibble. TB --I killed Doc Holliday
Vondy
yes, both niles and frasier are psychiatrists, which means they had to finish medical school before they went on to specialize.
tkdguy
Okay, I fixed the write-up, and I added a few things to give him an even hundred points. Thanks for the suggestions, guys. But I don't know why he would need Damage Reduction, so I held off for now.

Not that I think he's attractive, of course, but hey, he's a TV/movie star, right?
tkdguy
Some superheroes wouldn't even need to lift a finger. Forget "HULK SMASH!" Think "Why funny little man faint when Hulk look at him?"

AnotherSkip
So how about a writeup for Lilllith? im seeing bonus to strength, Conditional. Bouns to Pre conditional, etc...
tkdguy
Unfortunately, I'd stopped watching Cheers regularly by the time Lilith showed up, so I'm not too familiar with her. But if anyone is up to the task, go for it.

Ian Mackinder
Re: Character: Dr. Frasier Crane Liked the show, think the write-up is pretty good. I also tend to think his STR and CON should be lower. Possibly his STR becomes relatively normal under certain circumstances (No Conscious Control or some such thing perhaps?). I can recall various times when he has been consistently ... wimpy, yet there have also been occasions when this has definitely not been the case. I also think his EGO should be lower. Plenty of times he has clearly struggled to suppress his own natural inclinations and Psych Lims (to interfere, be snobby, etc.) but failed dismally. Wow, I thought this thread had reached its end years ago. I wonder what Frasier thinks of thread necromancy? Those are good suggestions; thanks guys. I didn't watch the show regularly, so I missed a lot of episodes. So corrections are always welcome.
