There is an appendix on metaphysical reasoning behind some ideas like the immortality of the elves; whether Gandalf — as a Maia ‘incarnated’ into Middle Earth; and connections to Aristotle’s prime matter & hylomorphism. I'm thinking: Swords and Sorcery. Player created characters and world. A shared world would be interesting, but might be too much work. Probably only needs half a dozen players.
