When PDF's get updated

When/if you update a purchased PDF, do you get notifications so you can come and re-download?

The closest you'd get would be a note within the download page for that product (indicating the last update date/time)...but it's moot as the PDFs don't generally get updated barring issues with the original upload (e.g. missing section or whatever).  Changing the PDF to take into account errata requires going back through layout and editing phases, which rarely (if ever) happens outside of major version updates.
