Logan D. Hurricanes
I saw those in Walmart and wondered why the reissue. Didn't realize they were a McFarlane offering. I may have to take a closer look next time I'm in there.

The robot arms simulate his strength, and it can fly as fast as he can, and withstand tremendous amounts of damage. Not to mention it protects him from Kryptonite. I had not heard of a comic book rationale where that happened. Many thanks. I was writing it off as a company just doing something for 'being cool's sake'. Logan D. Hurricanes
In certain books, definitely. You could say it's a return to the mythology in that sense. More a creature of whim than outright evil.

This was the Supermobile's first appearance, in March 1978-- And this was the original Supermobile, from a World's Finest story where Superman's powers were transferred to Batman-- I wouldn't mind having that as a toy, either. death tribble
I had a Thunderbird 2 toy from Dinky Toys. My brother had the Batmobile based on the 60s TV series. I also had the Aston Martin DB5 from James Bond.
