wcw43921
The Article At The New Republic Saw this on Facebook and thought I'd pass it along. Seems to me this would make an excellent refuge for someone who really wanted or needed to stay hidden. Could be really great as a setting in Champions, Dark Champions, or Pulp Hero. Or maybe someone here needs to really stay hidden. . . unclevlad and Cancer 1

unclevlad
Potentially a perfect hunting ground for a vampire. DentArthurDent
Cancer
Or a vampire hunter.
unclevlad
Indeed. If it's a low-ish power supernatural urban fantasy, where the general populace does NOT know about the Unknown World (to steal a phrase)...hunters would be vigilantes and murderers at best. The actual owner of the building might be the hunter/group patron. The building dates all the way back to the 19th century. Only 4 stories, but houses over 200? And, as I read it...mostly single occupancy. But also probably a basement/boiler room that would make for a better stash area, and while the rooms appear likely to be rather small, connecting a few, and setting them up for MUCH higher security inside...could be done quite anonymously. This'd work in any of the older cities...much of the Midwest, the industrial Northeast. Especially for hunters, who probably *don't* want to risk the sewers/subways where what they hunt may live more often. Very cool post...
