Sketchpad
So the description is a bit sparse for Heroes in a Hurry, and I'm wondering a few things... Is it basically templates for powers, skills, etc.? Is there anything there for the veteran player? What types of heroes can be made using it? Are there specific power types? Joe Walsh
I'm hoping we'll get a peek soon, since Jason said a PDF will be available when a small print run arrives. I have the Amazon POD edition in my cart, but I'm holding off going that route for now. Edited March 29 by GM Joe

Golden_Age_Trio.pdf So there are finalized characters in the product? I guess I'm just trying to figure out the format of the book and how useful it might be. Beast
Are these just pre-generated simple characters with simple backgrounds? is it a random table version of CCCC? Sketchpad

I've been laid low by covid and a post-covid lung infection, so although I have the files I've yet to even start reading them, I'm afraid. Glancing at it now, there are indeed nine sample characters at the end of the book. The format is various modules you assemble to make a character. I'll put a screenshot of the ToC here, which of course I'll remove if it's not acceptable to do so: Edited March 30 by BigJackBrass Khymeria, Instant Coffee and Sketchpad

I've had it all this time? I really should go through all those Patreon files someday. I download them, file them away, and tell myself I'll look at them real soon now. 🙄 Taking a quick glance at the files and, yeah, it's a decent collection of pre-built pieces much like the stuff I've built up over the years. Mine's in spreadsheets, so it's easier for me to use, but I'll have to go through this stuff and see if there's anything I can adapt. Still debating on getting this as an expansion of CCCC I just don't want to set up the templates

No, I don't believe it does. Essentially it describes how the book involves selecting multiple modules—around half a dozen for a 400 point character—and equipment bundles, then goes into some examples. At a brief glance I can't see a mention of random characters. Beast

Thanks Are the modules each a point based in groups like a 100,50,25pt groups?(or something like this?) as to mix and match

Duke Bushido
Given that I absolutely cannot draw, and I have no hope of ever commissioning art for commercial use, I don't bag on art no matter how bad it is; I am just glad to see it. DreadDomain
That's fair. I do not mind Hero Machine for a fan product. For a paid commercial product, I prefer no art over Hero Machine. But that's just me. Beast

steriaca
I just got this last night and think I can use it to do a Champions Universe recreation of the Dark Champions villain Tenderheart quite easily. Let me see.. Combat Expert (170) The Actor (20) The (Ex-)Criminal (15) The Weapon Specialist (30) Blade Fighting (Fencing) (30) Nanofibers Suit (Fencing outfit/various Victorian style dresses) (30) Neural Static Frequency Wall (looks like various hair ornaments or ribbons or earrings) (10) Sword, Light (15) Sword, Light (5) Taser Gloves (50) Spring Boots (10) Earpieces (usually disguise as earrings) (10) Monoline Slinger (60) Safe House (15) Complications Driving Goal (get protental lover to notice her) (10) Driving Goal (get rich by stealing things related to romance) (10) The Fugitive (all except for the Psychological Complication) (25) Honor Code (Code of the Gentlewoman Thief) (15) Tenderheart is still a transgender woman who falls in love with superheroes at the drop of a hat, and her crimes are designed to get the attention of her current crush.
