For me, July is taken up with the Tour de France and the last occasion on a free to air channel. One hour of highlights of the day's racing for 21 days. Two days of catch up 1 hour highlights on the rest days. 21 days of roughly 4 hours racing on TV maybe more on the weekends. And then we have any shopping trips, medicine collections, bill paying. I won't have time to do anything else.

We have family weddings in June and July, and I report back to school on August 6th. So it doesn't really matter to me what month we choose to do this; all of them are equally inconvenient for me.

But I'll see what I can do.

I'd be more interested if you could prevent August. And whether that ability could be applied to any month.

An idea has been sent to the Fortress of Tribbledom.

It asks that the Interference choice be removed.

I would therefore ask that people vote on it. I need a majority to axe it so 5-1 or 8-2 for example. If we have 2 votes for and 1 against or a similar close vote, it stays.

Get rid of it, I say.

I don't mind it, but the interference choice has seriously ruined the draft for some posters in years past, so it's probably safer to kill it.

As someone whose interference picks have been some of the elements of which I am proudest (and I suspect I am not alone in that) ... I vote for retention. It certainly can cause strife, but with creativity the interferences can be wonderful surprises. I almost always save it for last in my drafts.
