Basic204 Posted August 13 Report Share Posted August 13 (edited) Game Name: Ψ Files Game Time: Monday, August 26, 2024 8:00 PM Age Limit: 17 and up System: Hero System 6th Edition Concept: X-Files + Men In Black + Powers. Players will be secret agents of a government organization known as Maintenance, operating in a superhero universe. Your mission is to solve mysteries, deal with monsters, orchestrate events, and contain strange phenomena to save lives. Points: 350cp + XP (You will build your character with the character points first, then we can talk about XP) Active Points: 60 points Open Slots: 4 Slot Information: Player characters will have low-level superpowers but will primarily rely on their skills and gear. While powers give you an edge, your abilities as an agent are most crucial. Combat does occur but isn't the focus, so prioritize creating an interesting character over combat prowess. AKA Utility over power. This includes having knowledge skills such as knowledge of conspiracies, intelligence agencies, rumors, weird science, and more. Important: Please don't try and break the system; it will just take the fun away from everyone else in the game, and I will remove you. You will get gear and other stuff that all agents carry. You will be unraveling conspiracies with big companies, superhumans, monsters, and other strange stuff. You will need to keep notes and records on things because past events will come up. Playtime: Mondays at 8 PM EST, Bi-weekly (Every 2 weeks) Current player characters include: - A humanoid alien medical doctor When you are thinking up a character, think of them as a secret agent first. So that means skills, background, who they are, what they know, what they can do, and so on. Then powers afterward to add on top. No prior experience with the system is necessary—just bring a good attitude and a solid character idea. Note: please don't try to bring a superhero into this game. Message me if you want to join!
