Alric66 Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 I was just running a test of the HCM, the heroes vs a bunch of robots. The robots have EBs with autofire and 250 charges. Whenever I do an attack with a robot the program wants to deduct 250 END. Quote
Alric66 Posted December 4, 2024 Author Report Posted December 4, 2024 I did further testing with an attack with 6 charges. The program deducts 6 END when the power is used. Quote
bluesguy Posted December 5, 2024 Report Posted December 5, 2024 Hi, First of all, thank you for purchasing HCM. Can you upload the original HCM file here? Are you running a 5e or 6e campaign? Are the robots 5e or 6e, and which export did you use? Quote
Alric66 Posted December 6, 2024 Author Report Posted December 6, 2024 I'm running 6e for everything. However I did start with a 5e version of the robots and then change them to 6e and tweaked them from there. I used "HeroCombatManager-6e-XML.hcr" to export everything for the HCM. In case it matters I set the number of robots to 4.Players.XML Robots.XML Quote
bluesguy Posted December 11, 2024 Report Posted December 11, 2024 It would be helpful if you gave me the robot character sheets. Quote
bluesguy Posted December 18, 2024 Report Posted December 18, 2024 Hi, I just noticed the file today. Interestingly I don't see a CHARGES extract tag as part of Hero Designer. I am going to have to do something fancy with my hcr file when there are 'charges' associated with a power. HCM will not handle charges like END is handled and hopefully I can fix it so that HCM doesn't give the message about needing 250 END to utilize the attack. Quote

You may need to use the <!--MODIFIERS--> tag to pull out the fact it has charges Quote

After digging in my code, I found I was already identifying which powers had charges associated. On 12/3/2024 at 10:49 PM, Alric66 said: I did further testing with an attack with 6 charges.
