RPMiller Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 Ok, I finally got around to redoing Ryunosuke. He is one of my oldest characters. I don't take credit for the body (obviously that is Silver Samurai) nor the background (forgot where I got that from). But I did modify the costume by removing the "sun" and I lengthened the katana to a 'proper' length. Also the wings and all fire effects are mine. The background is from Marlin studios which someone on this board referred to. Sorry I don't remember who it was, but thanks! The body was done in HeroMachine and then Photoshopped to create the desolving effect and shadow. I also used PS lighting effects to enhance the overhead light. I figure she's an anachronism, participant in some futuristic sporting event. Here's the basic concept for it: Two people hack together programs in a limited period of time, jam them into two hard drives of the same size, then they enter a room and do virtual combat in a pokemon-esque fashion. The sport would be called "Cyberpath" and would be the source of her name. I figured she was good at it because she had a psychic edge and anticipated her foes well. Her powers will likely be a pool, only changeable between combats, with use of a computer lab, and she'd be able to hack together a bunch of abilities. It's her innate psychic abilities that allow her to now turn these virtual effects real (or maybe just make people feel them as if they were real). Enough thinking out loud... here's the pic...
