Guest bblackmoor
Re: Superhero Images My campaign has a yahoo group: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/heroicchicago/ That's awesome! How long did it take you to do all of those character illustrations? Even with the Timm templates a base, I am flabbergasted at how many you have done. Even with the Timm templates a base' date=' I am flabbergasted at how many you have done.[/quote'] Thanks. Unfortunately, I've been unemployed for more than a year, so I've had a lot of idle time. I've gotten to the point where I can do a simple one in about an hour. More complex ones of course take a bit longer. I've even created a few templates of my own. Bigfoot in the Silver Age folder is based on a template I did over a pic of the Demon Etrigan.

mattingly
Re: Superhero Images So are all of these characters for M&M instead of Hero? Yes. With Hero Games printing 18 books a year, and Green Ronin only printing 2 or 3 M&M books a year, we chased down that market for our first book. Any chance of conversions or Hero products down the line?

Logan D
Re: Superhero Images On the subject of an older Harry Potter, you might take a peek at this pisture here at Elfwood -- http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/fanq/g/o/goldseven2/wp_marauders_col.jpg.html It's actually of Harry's father James when he was at Hogwarts, but I think that cropped, it might suit your needs for a portrait. Logan D
Re: Superhero Images While I'm here, I ought to post something I just completed the other day. I've posted the black and white version of this piece in this thread before, and now here's the color version. The original had a few "speedlines" to denote motion. Here, I"ve erased those in favor of the backdrop. I found a picture of the New York skyline that was at a perfect angle for my needs, and motion blurred it. Looks pretty decent if I do say so! lemming and beauxdeigh

Agemegos
Re: Superhero Images Way back in about '86 or '87 there was a brief fad in the Champions group I was in for drawing the covers of the comics that our PCs were supposed to be appearing in. I'm not much of a draughtsman, but I ground out a series of seven satirical covers for my battlesuit characer, Colonel Carnage. Here is number 7, to make those of you who can draw look good. Logan D
Re: Superhero Images Here's another picture that I posted in B&W line format a while back. Now colored. Her name is Firedrake and now that I've gotten her colored, I can see there's more than a little bit of influence from Morningstar, of Bill Willinghams's Elementals, in her costume design and overall look. Ah well, we steal only from the best...
