BobGreenwade
It does look as though the question's been definitively answered.
Sketchpad
It has? Is he going to be the villain in STAST?
BobGreenwade
It hasn't been announced officially and explicitly, but Steve's been dropping hints broader than the Amazon that it's the case.

Lord Liaden
I wonder if we should have put a "Spoiler" warning on this thread... some folks might want to be surprised. Of course for people unfamiliar with the old Champions Universe it probably won't make much difference. Then again, even veterans can't be sure what form the reboot will take. Sketchpad
I know this was said someplace else ... but does anyone know the release date for STAST?
Steve Long
It's in layout now, so the odds are late December or, more likely, early January. We'll keep you updated as we have more info.
drrushing
king cobra, VOICE, gone? I own both the VIPER and VOICE supplements, I thoroughly enjoyed both. They are entirely different organizations. My campaigns, VIPER became high tech agents, super secret street level masses backed up by the occasional heavy hitting tech or Supervillian. VOICE, became a very secretative, DANGEROUS, oriental crime syndicate. Both created an almost unlimited cache of ideas to introduce to a campaign. One such campaign, I created a NPC - Rattler. This mercenary hero was infected with the COIL gene and transformed into a 30ft. anthropomorphized human rattlesnake. King Cobra became a great plot device for the occasional adventure. Any inclusion of VOICE, or a similar group, and King Cobra would be a great supplement to FRed.
steriaca
If you look at the new VIPER book, you notice that one of the scientist has a familer name to him. (Or, at least, I think his name is familer, as it was also the real idenity of King Cobra). So, it might be a mater of time before this scientist (who was responcable for Sidewinder, Boa Constricter, and others) decides to test his mutation prosses on himself and become Cobra, Master Of Snakes. levi
Is STAST... a module or a sourcebook? softcover print or eBook?
Lord Liaden
Adventure module, softcover print, reputedly including an organization usable as recurring foes.
