Mister Trent Posted April 1, 2004 Report Share Posted April 1, 2004 Hi, I'm new here but I've been playing Hero since 4th ed in the 90s. I'm alittle rusty, but I remember some of the basics. I just got my 5th ed this year and the first character I what to build is the android Mister Trent from the classic Outer Limits episode Demon With A Glass Hand. Any suggestions? Particularly, any suggestions on stats to give Trent and his glass hand AI? and how much would the whole "if someone removes its three key fingers, Trent suffers amnesia" deal be worth as a Physical Limitation? However, depending on how bad the amnesia is would determine how many points. Of course, if Mr. Trent has a bunch of skills, INT, etc... put into his hand and it's bought as a focus, you might just get points back there... Though I'm not sure. edit: Oh and Welcome to the Boards. You'll find most people friendly, but watch out for the political threads in the NGD. As for the Disad, I'd say it would be Ocasionally, Greatly (10-points) since Trent only seems to lose his identity related memory and most of the details of his mission when the fingers are removed. As an aside: It's a shame the girl freaked out and ran when she found out he's an android, she would've made a great DNPC. Anyway, good luck and welcome aboard. BTW, anyone here who's familiar with the episode got any thoughts on how to cover "The Wire" in his write-up or should I just mention it in his background and leave it to the realm of "plot devices"?
