Longest Running Thread EVER

So, I'm giving my Introduction to Chemistry students their first exam of the year. What music shall I have playing for them when they arrive to class: Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries", the "Dies Irae" from Verdi's Requiem, "Mars: The Bringer of War" from The Planets, or the Vader March from "The Empire Strikes Back"? Decisions, decisions....

OK, the Royals made the postseason, That makes now the longest postseason droughts to be ... Toronto (since 1993), and Seattle (since 2001).

 

And since the NY Giants and Jets (both NFL) suck, the NY Knicks and NJ Nets (both NBA) suck, and I have no idea about how the NY Rangers (NHL) are expected to do, ESPN will be talking about the apotheosis of Saint Derek the Jeter until next spring's NFL camps, probably.
