Man you need to put up a trigger warning before posting C code here.  Now I'm having flashbacks of troubleshooting string pointer problems in the computer lab at 2 AM.

Also you might want to escape the single quote in the third line, I can't remember whether C reacts to those or not.

It's been over 15 years since I've done any C++, let alone ANSI C, but that snippet of code ran OK when I posted it in July 1985.

Mad Scientist Breaks Down Smoked Pork Butt

This ... seems like one hardly needs the "Mad" part of it.

Unless this is an outtake from the hitherto unreleased epic 1970s film, "Cheech and Chong Get the Munchies".

Finally got the tube feeder put back up yesterday.

There'd been an infectious disease outbreak among pine siskins up in British Columbia which had come south, and pine siskins have been present in numbers at our bird feeder in the back yard.  The recommendation was to take the seed feeders down and keep them down for two weeks, wash them well and disinfect them with bleach water.  (Suet feeders could be left up, and we did that.)

Last week being insanely busy, as it happened our tube feeders were down for three weeks rather than two.  But I finally got them reassembled, stocked one and hung it out there.  The juncos were the first to find it and seemed quite pleased at the return.
