Re: Longest Running Thread EVER

Yeah' date=' the Vicks dogs. There was a couple of pictures, but both guys in them seemed of average height, so . . . :D[/quote']

I haven't actually met the Vick dogs myself. Been super busy with adoptions and I work mostly with cats. My wife has met some of them. And I'd probably recognize the people in the pictures easily enough.

Nope' date=' don't speak French. My German is none too good ... I doubt I'd be able to do a conversation any more, but I can do better puzzling out meaning while reading.[/quote']

I understand German much better when it's yelled at me.

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER

I just critically failed my google search roll. I didn't even see my mistake until it was too late.

I wanted to know how strong pearl is as a mineral. I typed in pearl cleavage into google for pure fail.

Heh. Could be worse. I once typed in "atlavista" (I think; I haven't gone back to test) in as a URL, and got to a site that shoved something on my hard drive that required me to type "format c:" in order to clear it out.

Stay away from "nasa.com" and things like that, too.

Re: Longest Running Thread EVER

Freitag. Gott sei Dank.

Oh. Why not "TGIF?" Nothing wrong with a classic.

Well' date=' that's basically what he said. He just said it in German. :)[/quote']

So TGIF = FGSD?

Then it's not the same thing, because then only people who speak German understand it.

Perhaps I shall start posting to this thread in French.

Nah. He probably speaks that, too.

But does he speak C? ;)

using namespace std;

int main(void)

{

char message[]={84,71,73,70,33,0};

cout << message;

return 0;

}
