L. Marcus
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I read there's a local californian online news paper that has outsourced everything but the editor to India.
Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER That's fine for world, national, and perhaps even regional news, but it makes it worthless for local news. And worse than useless for investigative reporting on a local level.
L. Marcus
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER As I recall, tapes and notes are sent to India, where subcontractors write the articles and send them to the editor. I don't know, it could work!

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Ah well. Time to logoff and frantically grade lab books if I'm gonna hand them back to kids on their out of the final.

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Went faster than I guessed. When they all make the same mistake, the decisions only have to be made once. The edits to the lab handout are clear too, but that isn't needed on quite so short a timescale. Hmm. A typo put "heeded" rather than "needed" in that last clause, which may be more prophetic than is comfortable.
