Our group has for 15 to 20 years run a multitable two-session event at a local gaming con. Because mostly of collisions between family events on the wife's side and the con date (it's in mid to late August) I have usually been involved in brainstorming and planning but couldn't attend. Planning started ladt month for this year's thing. Found out yesterday one of the others learned he can't get the day off, and so I was asked to pinch-GM his table of the event. Looks like I can. Not my favorite genre or system, though.

The Blue Dragons have been doing multi-table RPG events at Dragonflight in Seattle since sometime in the 1990s. Usually different systems every year, different genres. We seized on the concept of running events structured that you NOT do anywhere but a con: simultaneous distinct tables (as in different events at different tables, but always in the same overarching plot), with player and character exchamges during the action, interlocking team goals (no PVP). We've got enough rep that game companies have thrown swag in for our events in some years.
