Cancer
Re: The Last Word ... There are some climate trends that correlate with La Nina/El Nino state. In my part of the world, La Nina tends to correlate with wet, colder winters. Which we've certainly had. There's an odd thing that tracks of Atlantic hurricanes tend not to make landfall in the continental US when El Nino conditions hold. There's more when La Nina conditions are present, and worst of all is when neutral conditions are in effect. So I wouldn't be buying property-casualty insurance stocks in the US right now until the ENSO state changed.

ghost-angel
Re: The Last Word I saw the moon this morning driving to work. Sitting over the mountains it was a deep yellow in color, a few clouds were passing in front of it. The sky was a dark blue as it started to catch the rays of the coming dawn. It was a classic Horror Scene Shot right before you cut to the monster walking the early dawn streets of the city. . . I would have taken a picture but I wanted to keep the full visual all to myself. And I was doing 60 at the time.
Cancer
Re: The Last Word I have had my camera long enough, or gone on enough long drives with it, to have had that kind of thing happen to me yet. If we take our road trip this summer, though, it could well happen.
