Pariah Posted December 27, 2022 Report Share Posted December 27, 2022 For a while, Sam's Club was putting free demo items in with our pickup orders. One of them was a Coca-Cola/coffee energy drink. Since none of us in the house drink coffee, this was not exactly useful for us. So I took it to school to see who would want it. I asked three or four of my co-workers, and none of them are interested. I literally couldn't give the stuff away. So I left it on the table in the break room with a sign that said "Free to a good home". It disappeared, so I presume somebody took it. Or mercifully placed it in the nearest trash receptacle. Cancer Posted January 27, 2023 Report Share Posted January 27, 2023 Back in high school I was an inveterate pen cap chewer, and then came the day my "friends" swiped my pen cap, dunked it in the 1:4 diluted sulfuric acid that was being used in the wet cell batteries in our physics lab, and replaced the pen cap at the end of class. Then in the first couple of minutes of English that followed Physics, ... I bolted past the teacher to the water fountain, and came back to class a few minutes later with something like normal pH restored in my mouth.
