The other problem I have is that this past winter we got lots of constant rain, and the weeds just took off. They were knee high before I was able to do anything about them and for some of them "anything" meant "Roundup". The scorched-earth policy worked, but there are still scorched patches of lawn. And it hasn't happened yet, and won't for at least a week, either, from what I read in the forecast. Well, all the thorns are annoying and our empty lot that we plan to build on in a few years has a fence, also called a tumbleweed collector. I probably had a hundred built up on that thing.
