Re: Musings on Random Musings

Wish me luck. Interview in t-34 minutes.

May Fortune favor you, may God shine down his mercy, may the forces of Evil stub their toes all about you (and I'm talking a really pain ful stub that makes them limp away leaving you alone, you know, when you think you've JAMMED your toe into the socket and may have to see a podiatrist? And those guys aren't cheap ), and may VICTORY BE YOURS!

*Draws sword, points toward interview* FOR GOOD IMPRESSIONS, FOR EMPLOYMENT, FOR VICTORY! CHARRRRRRRGE!

Err.. good luck

Re: Musings on Random Musings

Well, it went better than I expected.

The situation is this: Summit makes banking software for credit unions. This last year they went international and a lady I knew from WaMu is heading that (they may talk to her). They are looking to greenlight a local project and then build a team. This first interview was to test the local talent waters (I saw some familiar names on their guest list :)) I don't have a computer degree but that didn't seem to be the problem I thought it would be. I should hear more by next Friday.

Tangenically, I might get a call about possible temporary work with their maintenance department. :)
