The journalistic standard of quality of the mainstream media is declining so we the people have to get our news from somewhere. Satire news programs are as good as any in this "new media" age. It is quite a livid purple bruise as the bruise higher on my leg also is but my ankle also was swollen a little which I did not notice. death tribble Posted February 1, 2014 Report Share Posted February 1, 2014 I do not have a sprain. What I have is bruises, swelling and pain on the leg above the ankle and below the knee. It was just I did not notice the brusing on my foot for several days. I cannot recall having this size and magnitude of bruising because injury and illness wise I have been lucky. In fracking February. Needless to say it was a solid sheet of ice when my boss called and told me to close the store and go home. And I wrenched it. And then I wrenched it again last night as I was clearing off the car so my wife could drive to work.
