levi
Re: What Do You Want To See?: DC: The Animated Series Fell's Point is way too dark and grim for what we have in mind here. I do hope to get Chris to do an FP sourcebook at some point' date=' but that's a separate animal.[/quote'] I have been using North Detroit for a similar campaign. This way you have the urban industrial area of Hudson City right on the outskirts of Millenium City. It has really reinforced the idea of the PCs being in the shadows of the superhero hub. Still a 4-color game, but with a more urban feel, which is the impression I get of what you'd like DC:TAS to be. As to what I'd like to see...Maps of North Detroit (if you go that way). Brief city info (greatly truncated and simplified compared to Hudson City). Notes and examples of themed henchmen, maybe each villain could have an entry relating to how he/she "gears up" his/her henchmen to fit the theme and a list of themed henchmen names. Example: Supercriminal HIGH EXPLOSIVE (he likes to blow up buildings) has construction themed thugs who all wear Hard Hats & Armored Orange Vests (5 PD Armor Act 11-) and carry sledgehammers (+4d6 HA) and modified nail guns (1d6 KA Penetrating). I kind of had the idea that FP was related to Hudson City the way Bludhaven was related to Gotham.

I kind of had the idea that FP was related to Hudson City the way Bludhaven was related to Gotham. There's nothing "bad" about it -- it's an absolutely amazing setting peopled by some very, very creepy characters. But it's far too dark to have anything to do with the DC:TAS book. Not knowing anything about Bludhaven, I can't comment on your second point.
JmOz
Re: What Do You Want To See?: DC: The Animated Series FYI: it is essentialy Gotham that has not had the influence of Batman, Nightwing (former Robin) is now its defender It was once commented that corruption in gotham comes from the streets up to the mayor's office, in Bludhaven it comes from the mayor's office down to the streets
Sketchpad
Re: What Do You Want To See?: DC: The Animated Series Personally, I'd like to see a genre treatment of rogue's galleries and how to run them. Most street level heroes have a healthy rogue's gallery made up of some diverse characters. A sample group of rogues would be shway A discussion of origins in the street hero genre would also be neat. Additional gadgets are a plus, as are special vehicles (like Nightwing's car with the changing chassis). As an oddity, how about a brief treatment for a Batman Beyond sorta thing? Eosin
Re: What Do You Want To See?: DC: The Animated Series Some wicked themed villains and thier diabolical plots would make me more than happy. If you have as many shining stars as Underworld Enemies then I will dance a little polka around the book.
pointyman2000
Re: What Do You Want To See?: DC: The Animated Series For some odd reason, some examples of Criminal Lairs and Secret Bases and Equipment for both Heroes and Villains seem right for me. Most of the bad guys have elaborately designed bases of operations, and the good guys often have some sort of hideout as well.
Xotl
Re: What Do You Want To See?: DC: The Animated Series I would like to see a meaty section on the interaction between superpowers and key elements of the Dark Champions genre: for example, the small sidebar on Ultraviolet Vision and forensics in DC. I was hoping this was one of the things that would get creatively expanded on in the new DC, but I think it really belongs here.
