Personality/Motivation: VOICE agents tend to be fanatical. They will continue a struggle beyond all reason, knowing that they face terrible revenge if there is any evidence of their slacking.

 

(VOICE of Doom, p. 26)VOICE agents have been selected with care for generations. Even the non-Oriental agents have been selected with the same criteria and given the same training. A VOICE agent is small, fairly quick and strong, and susceptible to EGO attacks, because Lung Hung likes them that way. Ever since he perfected his criteria, he has never had a rebellion amongst his agents.

Hi folks,

 

For some reason I was just notified now about this thread. Wish someone had mentioned it when it got started.

 

No problems, I really like some of the writeups. Unfortunately, I don't do .hdc, but I've copied everything I could. Particularly like the Hardhat and Dimension Man writeups. I never did a writeup of Hardhat, he was just a concept. Dimension Man was a character I did a couple of stories for for the early comic book fanzines in the 60s and I did have a writeup on him.

 

I'm really short on time these days, but if someone wants to do an updated writeup on Dreamer, feel free. Shouldn't you have one for Lupus, too?

 

Since the Perrinverse (check out my website at http://www.perrinworlds.com) uses actual comic book characters, Snapdragon is an operative for Kobra in the Perrinverse.

 

I also contributed writeups for Lung Hung in the 1950s and 1900s in that earlier thread, feel free to work with them.

Background: The Black Phantom is a mysterious figure dressed in greay nad black with a full face mask. He first appeared in the late 1960s where he concentrated on Civil Rights matters. Since the mid-Seventies, he has concentrated his efforts on general crimefighting, saying in interviews that he was now interested in those crimes that affect all people.

 

Personality/Motivation: The Black Phantom is really Lafayette Jefferson, bus company executive (troubleshooter). Preferring to work alone, as he's grown older (he's in his 50's) he increasingly likes to have the Freedom Squad to back his plays.

 

Powers/Tactics: His main weapon is a multi-gun which shoots out various chemical substances that turn into entrapping webs, knockout gases, platic stun bubbles, etc.
