Guest Major Tom
Re: Character: Mack Bolan, the Executioner Katz was the one-handed Israeli, right? And thanks for reminding me of some fun reading from my youth. Executioner, in retrospect, sorta reminds me of a more 'real world' version of the Spider (no death dwarves or Lord of the Killing Light here, folks) but it was always a very fun, pulpish read. And am I the only one to remember that first big series crossover, where the crazy Russian KGB agent tried to use an army of terrorists to nerve gas America to death? If you're talking about Stony Man Doctrine, no, you're not the only one to remember it. Now, about Katz: what happened to the character? It's been several years since I last got a book in any of the three series. Major Tom Feuer Frei! (BANG! BANG!)

He was killed in Executioner #300, and it was a rather poor handling of the character by the author, who was not linked to the character often.
