last time I wrote up a lawgiver it was for my modified "Space game" version of Danger International, back before 1st ed Star Hero came out. I'm sure if had access to my storage unit I could find it, but all those archives are sitting in boxes 2 and a half hours away.

Think Multipower for the various munitions, with a seperate Triggered attack for the security system.

At one point someone had done a BBB version of some of the world

for the Judges....Can't recall the URL of the top of my brain stem tho'....

As far as I can recall, it has heat-seeking ammo, incendiary ammo, and normal bullets. It fires single rounds or bursts. It probably uses illuminating rounds as well, but I don't recall specifically. I vaguely recall seeing a frame where you could see through its sights, and there seemed to be a lot of target/range info displayed in there, as well as the optical magnification. Plus, it blows up if anyone besides Dredd tries to use it... unless it's his genetically identical clone-twin, Rico.

 

As for the Hero stats -- go to it :) All the damage parameters are going to be campaign-specific, so there's not much point in me doing it. The only thing I'd say is that it's clearly a Focus and not Independent, the ammo must be a Multipower since you can only use one type at a time, and that it has a bunch of Penalty Skill Levels vs. Range Modifiers. As for the blowing up thing, I'd stick that in the Multipower with 1 non-recoverable charge, Trigger and No Conscious Control.

I had a similar weapon in a game, I went with the easy way though.

 

1 1/2d6 RKA (Variable Advantage +1/2) +1, OAF -1, Charges, Incantations required for advantage change -1/4

 

It doesn't do EVERYTHING exactly, but it was close enough for me.
