You really want to be tricky, have one song for each year, but the song had to be released that year. One from 2007, one from 2006 and so on, back to the year you were born.

I've done that - it can be tough. :)

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Bobby Darin's Mack The Knife just doesn't do it for me.

You are broken and need to be fixed. :) :) :)

Currently I am listening to one of the sets I picked up at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: The Only Doo-Wop Collection You'll Ever Need, which is pretty accurately named. Great vocal harmonies from groups of the Fifties and Sixties.

Too derivative - there's a "Mackie the Knife" in the Wild Cards book series. Scary dude, too.

Currently: Calypso - Hans Zimmer (from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End).

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Hmmm... I don't know all the songs on that list' date=' Bazza, but what I do recognize seems pretty cool. ;)[/quote'] :) The songs you don't recognise are probably by Australian artists.

(umm, do I mention that the current Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams' Desert Island Discs songs include The Incredible String Band's The Hedgehog's Song? Sort of like a cross between a pop song/nursery rhyme, played in a "world music"/folk music/psychedelic vein. Or an early 70s "folk-rap" song I own? I think I will. :) )

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now?

"Enter Sandman" as done by Iron Horse in their Fade to Bluegrass: The Bluegrass Tribute to Metalica

I just stumbled onto this on Deezer and am in shock. One, that someone did this. Two, it's pretty good! Of course, I like both Metalica AND Bluegrass, so others may not agree
