Iuz the Evil
Kelly Clarkson American Idol run 2002. Let me just say damn. This is the voice of a generation. Quote Clarkson has sold over 25 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide. She has had 27 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with three number one songs and eleven in the Top 10.[3] Her accolades include three Grammy Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and two Academy of Country Music Awards. Billboard has hailed Clarkson as "one of pop music's greatest singers"[4] and honored her with the Powerhouse Award for her vocals. Clarkson became the first artist in history to top each of Billboard's pop, adult contemporary, adult pop, country, and dance charts. She was ranked nineteenth on VH1's list of 100 Greatest Women in Music Throw stones if that's your inclination. She's a generational talent with no question about it. Old Man
Heilung is a neofolk/industrial band whose work echoes chants and mythology in early medieval German, Norse, and Danish.

Enforcer84
Found an interesting band. It's the surviving remnants of Ronnie James Dio's original Solo Line up, they started doing Dio Tribute/Covers in 2012 with a new singer. Then, like the touring Thin Lizzy band before them (or around the same time) they decided to head to the studio and record new material, changing their name to "The Last in Line." They're good. Not just because they're reminiscent of Dio. They tried to keep his spirit in their song writing. Ternaugh
Pariah
Interesting. The group's touring keyboardist from 2016 to 2018 was Erik Norlander, somebody whose work I really appreciate from Rocket Scientists, Lana Lane, and several solo projects. Joe Walsh
Berlin, Like Flames. From their third album, the last one before the original group broke up. The album was a commercial failure, but I consider it an unqualified artistic success.

Even with the one megahit single -- Take My Breath Away (which they didn't write) -- the album peaked at 61 on the US Billboard charts, whereas their previous album, Love Life, had made it to 23 without any such assist. Yet the songs on the former are as great as any they recorded previously, IMO.
